La présente invention concerne un modérateur de tirage (1), comportant : - un capot (10), - un volet (20) mobile par rapport au capot (10), pouvant prendre une position fermée et une position ouverte d'admission d'air, - un contrepoids (30) pour rappeler le volet (20) en position fermée, disposé du côté intérieur du volet, mobile par rapport au volet de façon à permettre un réglage du couple de rappel de celui-ci en position fermée.
