Timon d'attelage (1) comportant : - une structure porteuse (2) s'étendant longitudinalement suivant un axe XX' entre une première extrémité et une deuxième extrémité ; - un premier moyen d'ancrage (4) fixé sur la première extrémité de la structure porteuse (2) ; - un moyen de fixation (6, 6a, 6b) monté sur la deuxième extrémité de la structure porteuse (2) ; caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'attelage comprend un système de sécurité (7) fixé sur la structure porteuse (2), le système de sécurité (7) comprend un organe coulissant (11) qui s'étend sur un axe YY' et comporte : - une enveloppe (13) ; - une tige coulissante (15) qui traverse de part et d'autre l'enveloppe (13) suivant l'axe YY', la tige coulissante (15) comprenant un deuxième moyen d'ancrage (16) fixé sensiblement sur une première extrémité de la tige coulissante (15).
