L'invention concerne un plan de couchage ou d'assise (1), par exemple pour la réception d'un matelas ou d'un coussin, lequel plan de couchage ou d'assise (1) comprend une juxtaposition de plateaux support (2) rigides ou semi-rigides . Selon l'invention, chacun desdits plateaux support (2) est relié à au moins l'un des plateaux support (2) qui lui est adjacent par au moins une structure de liaison (3) souple ou semi-rigide, lesquels plateaux support (2) comprennent au moins trois moyens d'ancrage 21), et lesquelles structures de liaison (3) comprennent deux extrémités chacune munie d'un moyen de fixation (32) adapté auxdits moyens d'ancrage (21) desdits plateaux support (2).
