La vanne (1) comprend : - un corps de vanne (3), délimitant intérieurement un passage (5) de circulation d'un fluide ; - un arbre (13) d'entraînement; - un palier (15) de guidage en rotation de l'arbre d'entraînement (13), comprenant une chambre (17) entourant un segment (19) de l'arbre d'entraînement (13), et une pluralité de billes (21) remplissant la chambre (17), les billes (21) étant libres à l'intérieur de la chambre (17), la chambre (17) étant entièrement remplie de billes (21) et les billes (21) étant au contact de l'arbre d'entraînement (13) le long de tout ou partie du segment (19).
