Abstract

Une plaque translucide comprend une face d'entrée et une face de sortie, la plaque translucide étant conçue pour diffuser par la face de sortie la lumière incidente sur la face d'entrée conformément à une indicatrice optique de diffusion. L'indicatrice optique de diffusion présente un maximum pour une direction inclinée par rapport à une direction normale à la plaque translucide. Une telle plaque translucide peut être utilisée en tant que diffuseur au sein d'un appareil de projection comportant un dispositif de génération (2) d'un faisceau lumineux d'éclairage de direction principale déterminée (15) et un écran imageur (4) plan. Un procédé de fabrication d'une telle plaque translucide et un système d'affichage tête haute sont également proposés.
