Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de montage d'un dispositif d'étanchéité (15) à l'intérieur d'une bague (1) présentant une portée (11) formée du côté arrière, et une paroi s'étendant selon une direction sensiblement axiale du côté avant, ladite paroi présentant une portée avant dont la dimension intérieure est supérieure à la dimension intérieure de la portée arrière (11), le dispositif (15) comprenant une armature (16) équipée d'une couronne extérieure (18) d'emmanchement présentant au moins deux évidements (23) diamétralement opposés définissant une dimension extérieure réduite qui est inférieure à la dimension intérieure, ledit procédé prévoyant d'incliner relativement le dispositif (15) et la bague (1) en disposant les évidements (23) en regard axial de la portée arrière (11), puis de déplacer relativement le dispositif (15) et la bague (1) pour, après passage de ladite portée arrière au travers desdits évidements, disposer de façon coaxiale la couronne extérieure (18) et la portée avant puis réaliser l'emmanchement.
