Description

The present invention relates to mortuary cabinets intended to preserve, for first use, the remains of animals by means of refrigeration units containing removable gratings (1).

It relates more particularly to a refrigerated cabinet in which shelving is installed, composed of shelves or gratings (1), the feet of which include wheels or casters (2), so that they can be advanced to deposit the bodies of the deceased animals. These devices may also be suitable for the remains of children.

Equipment of this kind is usually intended for human bodies, 10 adults, and therefore has several drawbacks. Furthermore, the main concern in this area, was mainly aimed at providing low temperature preservation systems that effectively cool and stay cold for a long time (W02015040754) and not on their ergonomics which is important for various reasons.

First, the accessibility to shelving and their ergonomics are not suitable for small bodies such as those of animals.

Then, the size and size of the morgues is not compatible with veterinary establishments or other establishments (laboratories, shelters, ...) where animals die.

Finally, most of the current equipment receiving the remains of the animals is refrigerated chests opening from above, in which the bodies of the deceased animals are placed one above the other.

This poses a problem when families request a visit or return of the animal's body. Furthermore, cleaning and disinfection of refrigerated boxes is very difficult and painful given the depth at the bottom of which hygiene and disinfection operations must be carried out.

The object of the present invention is to remedy all these drawbacks.

The invention makes it possible to keep the bodies of animals in a physiological position avoiding unworthy bodily deformations so that funeral operations (presentation to the family, cremation, burial or other) can take place with respect.

By adapting to the constraints of the establishments in which the animals die as well as to the dimensions of the animal bodies, the invented device allows body conservation that respects the bodies and the affect carried by families to their animals.

The invented device is also easy to clean and disinfect by its front opening facilitating access to the entire refrigerated cell. These cleaning and disinfection operations are essential to the safety and hygiene due to the personnel of establishments where the bodies of deceased animals are kept.

The invention is composed of a refrigerated cabinet, the refrigeration of which is supplied by a cold group located outside the insulated enclosure, in a trunk in the high position (5).

This mortuary cabinet includes, depending on its size, 2 to 5 shelves or gratings (1) made of anti-corrosion materials, devoid of roughness, each capable of supporting a load of at least 30 kg, which are fixed on feet comprising wheels or casters (2), therefore rolling feet, whose extraction from the cabinet allows access to its entire enclosure in order to carry out cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the prescriptions and regulations of use.

On its front part, the cabinet includes a closure constituted either by a heat-insulated swing door with 2 leaves (4) opening at least 270 degrees, or by one or two heat-insulated sliding shutter (s) intended (s) to allow access to all of the shelves or located inside thereof (5). In a first preferred embodiment (FIG 1, 2, 3 and 4), the invention is composed of a large refrigerated cabinet which measures from 2.20 to 2.40 m high, from 0.80 to 1 m deep , and from 1.40 to 1.60 m in width, the refrigeration of which is supplied by a cold group situated outside the insulated enclosure, in a trunk in the high position (5).
