Elément de mobilier modulaire (30) comportant : - au moins une première structure (10), de préférence métallique, comportant deux cadres latéraux verticaux (12) reliés inférieurement par deux traverses horizontales (11) et à l'arrière par un élément arrière (13), chaque cadre latéral (12) comportant deux montants verticaux, - au moins une deuxième structure (20), de préférence métallique, comportant une cadre supérieur (21) prolongé vers le bas dans les coins par quatre montants verticaux (22), ces derniers étant reliés par des éléments arrière (24) et latéraux (23), - un moyen d'assemblage (38) des première (10) et deuxième (20) structures superposées verticalement, les quatre montants (22) de la deuxième structure reposant lorsque les deux structures sont assemblées sur l'extrémité supérieure de la première structure, dans le prolongement des montants (19) de cette dernière.
