Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification si les rejets mesurés par une sonde (11) d'oxydes d'azote disposée en aval d'un système de réduction dans une ligne d'échappement d'un moteur d'un véhicule sont des rejets d'ammoniac ou des rejets d'oxydes d'azote, la sonde (11) mesurant un courant de pompage d'oxygène entre une chambre de mesure (7) et un canal de référence (9). Il est détecté une phase de coupure d'injection de carburant dans le moteur et au début de coupure, quand des rejets d'ammoniac ou d'oxydes d'azote sont encore effectifs dans la ligne, après passage dans une chambre préalable (8) d'élimination de l'oxygène, il est mesuré une valeur de courant de pompage d'oxygène dans la sonde (11) en aval, cette valeur de courant de pompage d'oxygène étant représentative soit d'un rejet d'ammoniac ou soit d'un rejet d'oxydes d'azote.
