Source auxiliaire mobile (1) d'énergie électrique pour véhicule (2), comprenant : - un stockeur (3) d'énergie électrique, notamment apte à échanger de l'énergie électrique avec une unité de stockage (22) d'énergie électrique du véhicule, - un système de propulsion (4), permettant à la source auxiliaire mobile (1) de se déplacer par rapport au véhicule dans un mode de fonctionnement autonome, et - un système d'accrochage (5), permettant à la source auxiliaire mobile (1) d'énergie électrique d'être entraînée par le véhicule (2) dans un mode de fonctionnement tracté.
