L'invention concerne un procédé de diffusion d'au moins un message dans un réseau formé par une pluralité de nœuds mobiles (1, 2, 3) aptes à se déplacer dans un espace (E) géographique, le procédé comprenant - un premier mode (M1) de diffusion dudit message selon un premier standard de communication du type IEEE 801.1 1p ; et - un deuxième mode (M2) de diffusion dudit message selon un second standard de communication, procédé dans lequel l'un des premier ou deuxième mode de diffusion est sélectionné (SEL) lorsque ledit message correspond à un message de sécurité tel que défini dans le standard IEEE 802.11p.
