Abstract
L'invention concerne un produit plat en alliage d'aluminium d'épaisseur supérieure à 12.5 mm présentant des propriétés améliorées dans l'épaisseur. Ce produit est obtenu en ajustant les conditions de brassage pendant la coulée du lingot servant à l'obtention du produit plat. Le procédé de coulée se caractérise par une coulée avec brassage induit par un champ de forces externes non stationnaire ou une coulée avec brassage induit par un champ de forces externes stationnaire plaquant. Le procédé de transformation comprend une mise en solution à une température supérieure à 450°C, une trempe et un revenu ou maturation pour obtenir un produit plat en alliage d'aluminium. Optionnellement une opération de scalpage peut être effectuée pendant le procédé de transformation afin d'éliminer des défauts de surface rédhibitoire si une opération de laminage est effectué subséquemment. L'invention permet en particulier d'augmenter l'épaisseur du produit coulé sans altérer, voire en améliorant l'allongement dans le sens travers-court du produit final.Disclosed is a flat aluminum alloy product with a thickness greater than 12.5 mm having improved properties in the thickness.
