Un dispositif de transmission du son (4) pour écouteur, comportant une ouverture d'entrée (41), ladite ouverture d'entrée (41) étant apte à recevoir une source d'émission sonore, une ouverture de sortie (42) apte à être présentée dans une oreille et une enceinte de diffusion (40) apte à conduire le son d'amont en aval depuis ladite ouverture d'entrée (41) vers ladite ouverture de sortie (42), l'enceinte de diffusion (40) comportant une partie amont (40A) configurée pour traiter le son, une partie aval (40C) configurée pour être placée dans une oreille d'un utilisateur et une partie intermédiaire (40B) configurée pour conduire le son de la partie amont (40A) à la partie aval (40C), l'enceinte de diffusion (40) possédant une longueur (DB) supérieure à 130 mm.
