Abstract

Description

Technical area

The present invention relates to the field of permanent or temporary signs, and in particular urban signage intended primarily for commercial and proximity signs. The invention more particularly relates to an urban signage device comprising a plurality of panels and two poles.

Prior art

In the field of permanent or temporary signage, urban signage devices consisting of two posts supporting one or more blades (s) advantageously metallic (s) whose ends are inserted at least partly into the posts, are well known. (the) blade (s) being of conventionally rectangular shape, providing a substrate receiving on the front face a decoration such as an arrow, a symbol, a pictogram or a text indicating a direction to travel to a place or in a store, for example. In known manner, each post is a light alloy profile conventionally made by extrusion and having at least one groove having a slot. Each blade is preferably a parallelepiped flattened light alloy obtained by extrusion whose longitudinal ends are adapted to be inserted into the associated groove of each of the two poles. It is understood that the implementation of these blades must be performed, once the poles anchored in the ground, inserting from the top of said poles the blades one after the other. This imposition is not really compatible with quick and easy field mounting and has the consequence of increasing the mounting time and the final cost of the urban signage devices of the prior art. Furthermore, a blade change alone is not possible because it is then necessary to remove the blades disposed above the blade that is desired to change making this type of urban signage device difficult to modulate.

Presentation of the invention

The purpose of the present invention is therefore to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide an urban signage device easily scalable and quick to implement without special tools. The invention relates to a signage device comprising two vertical posts, one or more generally rectangular blades capable of being fixed horizontally between and along said two posts and parallel to each other, said device being remarkable in that it comprises securing means for releasably securing the ends of the lower longitudinal edge of each blade to the posts, then allowing the blade to be rotated generally around the lower longitudinal edge to bring said blade into its "signaling" position in which it is disposed between the two posts so that its frontal plane of symmetry F contains the longitudinal axes of said posts, and locking means allow to removably fasten the upper longitudinal edge of each blade relative to the two posts to block in its position "signaling".

The securing means advantageously comprise a securing member fixed or integrated at each end of the lower longitudinal edge of each blade and a complementary solidarization member secured along each post and adapted to cooperate with the associated securing member and the means of blocking comprise a locking member fixed or integrated at each end of the lower longitudinal edge of each blade and a complementary locking member secured along each post and adapted to cooperate with the associated locking member.

Preferably, each securing member comprises a generally cylindrical body provided on one of its bases with a radial groove extending on one side beyond the middle of said base and opening on the other side to the outside. of the body and each complementary securing member comprises a rod secured to the associated post and extending perpendicularly at least partly projecting from the outer face of said post, the portion of the rod outside said post being adapted to be inserted into the radial groove in the fastening member associated with its end opening to the outside.

Furthermore, each locking member comprises a body provided with at least one orifice passing therethrough and adapted to receive a locking screw and each complementary locking member comprises a tapping arranged on the post adapted to cooperate with the screw. locking of the locking member.

According to a preferred embodiment, each post has a groove opening longitudinally at each end of said post and having a generally C-shaped cross section, each complementary securing member comprises an anchoring member slidable along said groove and has a through thread, the rod then being a threaded rod adapted to be screwed into said tapping, and the thread of the complementary locking member is arranged on an anchoring member slidable along said groove.

Advantageously, each blade comprises a generally rectangular plate and two generally cylindrical lower and upper sections respectively defining the lower longitudinal edge and the upper longitudinal edge of said blade and each provided with a longitudinal slot opening longitudinally at each end of the lower profile or upper associated and adapted to receive one of the longitudinal edges of the plate.

The lower and upper profiles are preferably longer than the plate so that their ends extend beyond the plate when the longitudinal edges of the latter are inserted into their slot.

Advantageously, the body of each securing member comprises on its base opposite its radial groove a recess adapted to receive one of the ends of the lower profile of the associated blade and the body of each locking member comprises on one of its front faces a recess adapted to receive one of the ends of the upper section of the associated blade.

According to an advantageous embodiment, each securing member advantageously comprises an indexing member in the form of a tongue disposed inside the recess and adapted to cooperate with the slot of the lower profile of the blade to guide the blade. radial groove so that its longitudinal axis is parallel to the lateral edge of the blade and that its end opening outwardly is oriented on the side opposite to the plate of the blade, and the body of each locking member comprises a member indexing in the form of a tongue disposed inside the recess and adapted to cooperate with the slot of the upper profile of the blade to guide the orifice so that it is in the extension of the blade and that its longitudinal axis is contained in the plane of frontal symmetry F of the blade.

Best way to realize the technical invention

Thus, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 13, the urban signage device 1 comprises; two vertical poles, one or more generally rectangular blades 3 capable of being fixed horizontally between and along said two posts 2 and parallel to one another; securing means 4 for releasably securing the ends of the lower longitudinal edge 31 of each blade 3 to the posts 2, then allow the rotation of the blade 3 generally around the lower longitudinal edge 31 to bring said blade 3 in its "signaling" position in which it is arranged between the two posts 2 , its frontal symmetry plane F containing the longitudinal axes of said posts 2 and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, its lateral edges 33 then being substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of said associated post 2, and - locking means 5 allow to removably fasten the upper longitudinal edge 32 of each blade 3 relative to the two posts 2 to block it in its p osition "signaling".

There is shown in the figures an urban signage device 1 according to the invention with two vertical posts 2 and one or more horizontal blades 3. However, the posts 2 and / or the blades 3 may be more or less inclined relative to the vertical and the horizontal respectively, the terms such as, for example, vertical, horizontal, perpendicular, parallel, upper or lower will be then if necessary to adapt.

In addition, in the embodiment described, the securing means 4 are associated with the lower longitudinal edge 31 of each blade 3 and the locking means 5 are associated with the upper longitudinal edge 32 of said blade 3. However, it is well understood that that the securing means 4 and the locking means 5 may respectively be associated with the upper longitudinal edge 32 and the lower longitudinal edge 31 of each blade 3 without departing from the scope of the present invention.

With reference to FIG. 3, the posts 2, which are advantageously made at least in part from aluminum alloy extruded profile made of light alloy for example, are fixed on a solid core made, for example, of concrete. Each post 2 comprises a groove 21 comprising at least one longitudinal slot 22 opening on one side in an internal cavity 23 and on the other outside the post 2, said slot 22 and cavity 23 opening longitudinally at each end of said post 2. The slot 22 has a width strictly less than the width of the cavity 23 so as to have a groove 21 with a generally C-shaped cross section.

Referring to Figure 2, each blade 3 comprises a generally rectangular plate 34 and having at least two substantially vertical front faces 35 of which at least one is able to receive the sign, and two lower sections 36 and 37 overall substantially cylindrical determining respectively the lower longitudinal edge 31 and the lower longitudinal edge 32 of said blade 3 and each provided with a longitudinal slot 38 opening longitudinally at each end of the associated lower profile 36 or upper 37 and adapted to receive the longitudinal edge of the plate 34, the lateral edges of the plate 34 then determining the lateral edges 33 of said blade 3.

The terms "cylinder" or "cylindrical" are, in the present application, to be taken in the broad sense and are therefore not limited to the cylindrical or cylindrical direction of revolution.

The lower and upper profiles 36, 37 are preferably longer than the plate 34 so that their ends extend beyond the plate 34 when the longitudinal edges of the latter 34 are inserted in their slot 38.

The plate 34 of each blade 3 defines a substrate receiving on one of its front faces 35 a decoration such as an arrow, a symbol, a pictogram or a text indicating a direction to follow to go to a place or a store, for example.

The plate 34 and the lower and upper profiles 36, 37 of each blade 3 are advantageously made of aluminum-type light alloy for example.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 13, the securing means 4 comprise a securing member 41 fixed at each end of the lower profile 36 of each blade 3 and a complementary securing member 42 secured along each post 2 and able to cooperate with the fastening member 41 associated for releasably securing the ends of the lower longitudinal edge 31 of each blade 3 to the posts 2.

Each securing member 41 comprises a generally cylindrical body 411 provided on a 412 of its bases 412, 413 with a recess 414 adapted to receive one of the ends of the lower profile 36 of the associated blade 3 and a radial groove 415 on the other base 413, said radial groove 415 extending on one side beyond the middle of the base 413 and opening on the other side outside the body 411, preferably flaring slightly.

The body 411 advantageously comprises an indexing member 416 in the form of a tongue disposed inside the recess 414 and adapted to cooperate with the slot 38 of the lower profile 36 to orient the radial groove 415 so as to that its longitudinal axis is parallel to the lateral edge of the blade 3 and that its end opening outwards is oriented on the opposite side to the plate 34 of the blade 3.

Each complementary solidification member 42 comprises a rod 421 secured to the associated post 2 and extending perpendicularly at least in part projecting from the external face of said post 2. The part of the rod 421 external to said post 2 being able to come into position. insert in the radial groove 415 in the fastening member 41 associated with its end opening to the outside, as explained below.

The rod 421 can be secured to the post 2 by any suitable technique such as, for example, welding or gluing.

However, in the preferred embodiment described (see Figure 13), the rod 421 is secured, removably, on the associated post 2. For this, each complementary securing member 42 further comprises an anchoring member 422 adapted to be inserted into the cavity 23 of said post 2 so as to slide along its groove 21 and comprises a through thread 423, the rod 421 being then a threaded rod adapted to be screwed, through the slot 22 of said groove 21 of the associated post 2, into the tapping 423 until it bears against the bottom of said cavity 23 and clamping said anchoring member 422 against the inner wall of said cavity 23 so as to be itself locked in position along said post 2. This configuration is particularly interesting because it allows to position or reposition very easily the rod 421 of each complementary securing member 42 to n ' any position along the posts 2, without having to carry out new welding, gluing or drilling operations which would degrade the paint of the device. if 1 of urban signage according to the invention.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 13, the blocking means 5 comprise a locking member 51 fixed at each end of the upper profile 37 of each blade 3 and a complementary locking member 52 secured along each post 2 and capable of cooperating with the locking member 51 associated to removably fasten the ends of the upper longitudinal edge 32 of each blade 3 to the posts 2.

Each locking member 51 comprises a body 511 provided on one of its end faces 512 of at least one recess 513 adapted to receive one of the ends of the upper section 37 of the associated blade 3 and a hole 514 passing through the body 511 from one side and able to receive a locking screw 515.

The body 511 advantageously comprises an indexing member 516 in the form of a tongue disposed inside the recess 513 and adapted to cooperate with the slot 38 of the upper section 37, when the recess 513 receives one ends of the upper profile 37, to orient the orifice 514 so that it is in the extension of the blade 3 and that its longitudinal axis is contained in the plane of frontal symmetry F of the blade 3.

Each complementary locking member 52 comprises a tapping 521 arranged on the post 2 adapted to cooperate with the locking screw 515 of the locking member 51.

In the preferred embodiment described, the tapping 521 is arranged on an anchoring member 522 adapted to be inserted into the cavity 23 of said post 2 so as to slide along its groove 21. This configuration is particularly interesting because it allows very easily position or reposition the tapping 521 of each complementary securing member 52 at any position along the posts 2, without having to perform new welding, gluing or drilling operations which would degrade the paint of the urban signaling device 1 according to the invention.

Said body 511 preferably comprises a countersink 517 at the right of the orifice 514 for drowning the head of the locking screw 515 when the latter is screwed into the tapping 521 of the complementary complementary locking member 52.

With this configuration, with reference to FIGS. 1, 12, 13 and 14A to 14E, to set up a blade 3 on the posts 2 of the urban signage device 1 according to the invention, the procedure is as follows: in place of securing means 4 and locking means 5 on the blade 3 and along each post 2, - positioning of the blade 3 between the posts 2 so as to have its plane of substantially horizontal frontal symmetry F and its edge longitudinal lower 31 vis-à-vis the complementary fastening members 42, - engagement of the blade fastening members 41 in the integral securing members 42 by inserting the rod 421 thereof in the radial groove 415 in the organs of fastening 41 to abut against the end of said radial groove 415, - rotation of the blade 3 to bring it into its "signaling" position, - locking of the blade 3 by inserting a screw b locating 515 in the orifice 514 of each locking member 51 and screwing into the tapping 521 of the complementary complementary locking member 52. The skilled person will have no difficulty in sizing the various components of the urban signage device 1 according to the invention to allow easy and durable implementation.

It is well understood that this configuration makes it easy with the aid of a simple tool, of the key or screwdriver type, to render the urban signage device 1 according to the invention rapidly adaptable by setting up, changing or moving one of his blade 3.

Description of other embodiments of the invention

According to a first variant embodiment not shown, the urban signage device 1 comprises two vertical posts, one or more blades, solidarity means, and locking means, all being similar to those previously described. However, this first variant embodiment differs in that; - The fastening member of the securing means does not comprise a radial groove but a rod or a retractable ball and their complementary fastening member does not include a rod but an orifice adapted to cooperate with said rod or ball, and / or - the locking member of the locking means does not comprise a through hole receiving a locking screw but a rod or a retractable ball and their complementary locking member does not comprise a rod but an orifice adapted to cooperate with said rod or ball .

According to a second variant embodiment not shown, the urban signage device 1 is similar to the preferred embodiment previously described. However, this second embodiment differs in that the securing member of the securing means and the locking member of the locking means are respectively integrated in the lower profile and the upper profile of the blade.

Finally, according to a last variant of embodiment not shown, the urban signage device 1 is also similar to the preferred embodiment previously described. However, in this latter embodiment, the blades are a flattened parallelepiped and do not have lower and upper profiles, and the solidarisâtion of the solidarisâtion means and the locking member of the locking means are reported or integrated respectively at the lower longitudinal edge and at the upper longitudinal edge of each blade.

Possibilities of industrial application

The device 1 according to the invention is more particularly applicable to urban signage, but it can also be used for other types of signage such as road signs.

It is understood that the examples described are only particular illustrations and in no way limiting of the invention and its fields of application.
