Abstract

Une station d'armes modulaire (10) comprend un bâti rotatif (24) adapté de façon à être monté sur une plateforme, et comporte un berceau amovible avec une arme (21) montée sur celui-ci. Le bâti rotatif (24) peut également comprendre une goulotte de chargement de munitions amovible (20), une unité de visée optique, et des entraînements d'azimut et d'élévation. La station d'armes modulaire (10) peut également comprendre un tambour rotatif et un ensemble de chargement de munitions couplés à l'ensemble de bâti rotatif (24). Le tambour rotatif et l'ensemble de chargement de munitions peuvent être disposés dans une position sous le blindage, de telle sorte qu'un opérateur puisse effectuer un ravitaillement en munitions à partir d'une position sous le blindage sans être exposé à un tir hostile. Des cartouches de munitions en bande peuvent se déplacer le long d'un trajet de chargement de munitions allant de l'ensemble de chargement à l'intérieur du tambour rotatif à une arme (21) sélectionnée.
