L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection (2) destiné à couvrir un passage (10) ménagé dans une paroi (7) d'une enceinte (23) constitutive d'une installation de séparation et/ou de liquéfaction de gaz (1), le dispositif de protection (2) comprenant un dispositif de fixation (16) destiné à solidariser le dispositif de protection (2) à un organe de l'enceinte (9) et une portion de recouvrement (13) associée au dispositif de fixation et destinée à couvrir le passage (10) traversé par l'organe (9) de l'installation caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de protection (2) comprend au moins un premier élément (2a) et un deuxième élément (2b) destinés à être rapportés l'un contre l'autre pour former le dispositif de protection (2), le premier élément (2a) et le deuxième élément (2b) comprenant chacun une partie du dispositif de fixation (16) et une partie de la portion de recouvrement (13).
