L'invention propose un plateau (20) pour le transfert d'au moins un produit, ce produit comportant, sur une de ses faces ou sur une des faces d'un emballage qui le contient, un premier marquage d'identification du produit par reconnaissance optique, plateau (20) qui comporte au moins une paroi horizontale de fond (22) sur la face supérieure interne (26) de laquelle le produit est apte à reposer par une de ses deux grandes faces, caractérisé en ce que ladite face supérieure (26) de la paroi horizontale de fond (22) comporte un deuxième marquage (M2) d'identification par reconnaissance optique permettant de déterminer la présence ou non d'un produit sur le plateau (20).
