Abstract

A clasp (1) for a bracelet here comprises a body in two parts (2A, 2B) complementary intended to be connected respectively to the two ends of the bracelet and which are arranged to assemble against each other on a face of assembly (3) by magnetic attraction. The assembly face of each part of the clasp comprises a magnet (4), a pin (5) mechanical locking and a housing (6) in which is inserted the pin (5) of the other complementary part when the two complementary parts are assembled against each other on their assembly face. The assembly face of each part of the clasp extends longitudinally so that said housing (6) of said part of the clasp forms a kind of longitudinal groove which extends over the entire length of the assembly face.

Description

The present invention relates to the field of clasps for bracelets and in particular to clasps comprising two complementary parts which are assembled by magnetic effect and by mechanical blocking.

Prior art

Patent document US2014 / 1300544 describes a bracelet clasp comprising two complementary parts intended to be connected respectively to the two ends of the bracelet and which are assembled one against the other on an assembly face by magnetic and mechanical blocking.

The assembly face of each part of the clasp here comprises a magnet for carrying out the magnetic blocking, as well as a pin and a housing in which the pin of the other complementary part is inserted to effect the mechanical blocking when the two complementary parts are assembled one against the other on their assembly face.

If this type of clasp is very robust and easy to use, it is however not suitable for attaching bracelets of different widths.

To overcome this problem, the manufacturers of clasps today offer several sizes of clasp corresponding to the different widths of bracelets.

However, the manufacture of these different clasps requires creating custom molds which considerably increase production costs.

Statement of the invention

The object of the invention is therefore to propose another type of clasp which can be used with different widths of bracelets.

To this end, the invention relates to a bracelet clasp comprising a body in two parts that said face of the clasp extends complementary intended to be connected respectively to the two ends of the bracelet and which are arranged to be assembled one against the other on an assembly face by magnetic attraction, said assembly face of each part of the clasp comprising a magnet, a mechanical blocking pin as well as a housing in which the pin of the other is inserted complementary part when the two complementary parts are assembled one against the other on their assembly face, characterized in that each part is assembled longitudinally so that said housing of said part of the clasp forms a kind of longitudinal groove which extends over the entire length of the connecting face, and in that the longitudinal groove, the magnet and the pin of each clasp part are designed so that the led it pin and said magnet are able to be inserted and locked in several locations chosen over the entire length of the groove which allows a cut of the two clasp parts to the desired length while being able to each receive a magnet for attraction magnetic and the pin of the complementary part for mechanical blocking.

The idea underlying the invention consists in proposing a clasp whose complementary parts can be cut in order to have a clasp adaptable to any kind of bracelet width.

The invention makes it possible in particular to reduce the length of the groove of each part complementary to the sandstone of the desires while retaining the mechanical blocking and magnetic attraction mechanisms.

We will understand that the clasp can to be divided many times up reach the size of clasp desired. The clasp according to the invention can present the following features •

- Each groove includes partitions which delimit the locations;

- the partitions are facing each other during the assembly of the complementary parts between them and are designed to cooperate with each other to achieve mechanical locking;

- The magnet of the complementary part extends out of the groove to form the pin;

- Each part includes a lateral flange which projects transversely to the assembly face so that each part is in the form of an L, the flange being designed to cover a lateral side of the other complementary part into which opens the groove when the two complementary parts are assembled one against the other on their assembly face;

The invention extends to a fancy bracelet comprising a clasp according to the invention.

Description of the embodiments

In Figures 1 to 5, there is illustrated a clasp 1 according to the invention adaptable for a bracelet, such as pearl bracelets, fabrics, etc.

The clasp 1 here comprises a body in two complementary parts 2A, 2B intended to be connected respectively to the two ends of the bracelet.

The complementary parts 2A, 2B are identical here and are in the form of bars arranged to be assembled one against the other on an assembly face 3 by mechanical locking and magnetic attraction.

The assembly face 3 of each part 2A, 2B comprises in particular at least one magnet 4 for producing the magnetic blocking, a pin 5 for mechanical blocking as well as a housing in the form of a longitudinal groove 6 in which comes insert the pin 5 of the other complementary part when the two complementary parts 2A, 2B are assembled one against the other on their assembly face 3.

The groove 6 advantageously extends over the entire length of the assembly face 3 so that the magnet (s) 4 and the pin 5 of each clasp part are designed to be able to be inserted and locked in several locations chosen on the entire length of the groove 6.

The pin 5 serves for its part both as a keying piece during the assembly of the parts 2A, 2B between them and as mechanical blocking means transversely with respect to a median axis AA ′.

Each pin 5 here extends near an end 7 of the assembly face so as to create a space E between the pin 5 and the end 7 of the assembly face 3 dedicated to the insertion of a magnet 4, as visible in FIG. 1.

Advantageously, the magnets 4 are here arranged at the ends 7, 8 of the grooves 4 in order to simplify the mounting of the clasp 1.

However, without restricting the scope of the invention, the pin 5 can also extend directly to the end of the assembly face 3 without creating space dedicated to the insertion of a magnet 4.

In this case, the magnet 4 will be placed near the pin 5 in the groove 6.

As shown in FIG. 1, the magnets 4 are here glued opposite in the grooves 6 of the parts 2A, 2B in order to allow magnetic locking when the parts are assembled to one another.

Advantageously, the pin 5 of each part 2A, 2B is also magnetized to cooperate with a magnet 4 disposed opposite in the groove 6 of the other complementary part in order to achieve both

mechanical blockages and magnetic. As shown in the figures 2, 3a and 3b, the groove 6 present also partitions 9 who mark out 10 designed pitches to receive a

magnet 4 and / or pin 5 of the complementary part.

Each location 10 here corresponds to a cutting interval which can be removed from each part 2A and 2B in order to reduce the length of the clasp 1.

It will therefore be understood that the partitions 9 of the complementary parts are here distributed in the grooves so as to be vis-à-vis during the assembly of the parts between them.

In general, the locations 10 may be delimited in any way as long as the cutting of the complementary parts 2A, 2B does not interfere with the mechanical and magnetic blocking.

FIG. 2 shows, for example, cubic partitions 9 distributed along and in the middle of the groove 6 designed to block the pin 5 and the magnet 4 in each location 10.

Advantageously, the partitions are also designed to cooperate with one another in order to achieve mechanical locking.

For this, each partition 9 will include a pin / hole system 11,11 ', shown in Figure 2, designed to cooperate respectively with a hole / pin system

In a different way, there are also shown in FIGS. 3a, 3b, partitions 9 formed in the walls of the groove, the notched profile of which faces opposite makes it possible to block the pin 5 and / or the magnet 4 .

In FIG. 3b, the pin 5 and the magnet 4 are each in the form of a half-cylinder designed to be inserted into the location 10 by forming a complete cylinder together, while in FIG. 3a, the pin and magnet are in the form of a cylinder capable of being inserted each into a location.

Any type of material can be used for the manufacture of the clasp, however favoring metal for its robustness.

It will however be understood that the cutting of the metal parts 2A, 2B can generate splinters 12 at the ends 8 of the complementary parts 2A, 2B and injure the user of the bracelet, as visible in FIG. 4.

Each part 2A, 2B therefore here comprises a lateral flange 13 which projects transversely to the assembly face 3 so that each complementary part 2A, 2B is in the form of an L and comes to cover the lateral side 14 of the another complementary part cut out when parts 2A, 2B are assembled together.

By covering the lateral side 14 of the other complementary part, the flange 13 therefore hides the splinters 12 of cutting.

Clasp (1) for bracelet comprising a body in two complementary parts (2A, 2B) intended to be connected respectively to the two ends of the bracelet and which are arranged to be assembled one against the other on a face of assembly (3) by magnetic attraction, said assembly face of each part (2A, 2B) of the clasp comprising a magnet (4), a pin (5) for mechanical locking as well as a housing (6) in which comes '' insert the pin (5) of the other complementary part when the two complementary parts (2A, 2B) are assembled one against the other on their assembly face, characterized in that said assembly face (3 ) of each part of the clasp extends longitudinally so that said housing (6) of said part of the clasp forms a kind of longitudinal groove which extends over the entire length of the assembly face, and in that the longitudinal groove (6), the magnet (4) and the pin (5) of each part (2A, 2B) of f ermoir are designed so that said pin and said magnet are able to be inserted and locked in several locations (10) chosen over the entire length of the groove (6) which allows a cut of the two parts (2A, 2B) of clasp (1) to the desired length while being able to receive a magnet (4) for magnetic attraction and the pin of the complementary part for mechanical locking. 2.
