L'invention concerne un module électronique de commande (1a, 1b) à induction électromagnétique pour un dispositif (2a, 2b) adapté à être utilisé dans un environnement hostile notamment un dispositif d'éclairage portable (2a, 2b) comprenant un élément d'activation (3) et une carte électronique de contrôle (4) aptes à coopérer l'un avec l'autre de sorte à générer des signaux de commande susceptibles de définir différents modes de fonctionnement dudit dispositif (2a, 2b) notamment différents modes d'éclairage du dispositif d'éclairage (2a, 2b), la carte électronique de contrôle (4) comprenant une composante de décodage (5) d'une instruction codée notamment une instruction d'éclairage codée, à partir d'au moins un actionnement de l'élément d'activation (3) ladite instruction étant susceptible de contribuer à la génération de ces signaux de commande.
