Système bidirectionnel de navigation (1) sous-marine comprenant une station de base (4) et un drone sous-marin (2) autonome propre à se déplacer par rapport à la station de base (4), le drone sous-marin (2) étant configuré pour déterminer sa propre position par rapport à la station de base (4), par triangulation d'au moins trois premiers signaux acoustiques : - émis simultanément par au moins trois émetteurs-récepteurs (10B, 10C, 10D, 10E) de la station de base (4), et - comprenant chacun au moins une première information, déterminée par la station de base (4), la station de base (4) étant configurée pour déterminer, la position du drone sous-marin (2) par rapport à sa propre position, par triangulation d'un deuxième signal acoustique reçu par ses au moins trois émetteurs-récepteurs (10B, 10C, 10D, 10E) et : - émis par un émetteur-récepteur (10A), et - comprenant une deuxième information.
