L'invention concerne un dispositif (12) de compensation de jeu axial, notamment pour véhicule automobile, comportant un premier élément (13) destiné à être fixe axialement par rapport à un vilebrequin, un second élément (14) destiné à être fixe axialement par rapport à une boîte de vitesses, des moyens de compensation de jeu comportant des languettes (15a, 15b) déformables élastiquement dans la direction axiale, lesdites languettes (15a, 15b) s'étendant circonférentiellement entre les premiers et second éléments (13, 14) de manière à transmettre un couple d'un élément à l'autre.
