Abstract
L'invention concerne un afficheur (1) tête-haute comprenant : - une unité de génération d'image (10) émettant un faisceau lumineux (F),- une cellule à cristaux liquides (11), disposée sur le trajet dudit faisceau lumineux, configurée pour que ledit faisceau lumineux sorte de ladite cellule en présentant : - une première polarisation (P1), lorsqu'un signal de commande (s) de ladite cellule présente une première valeur, et - une deuxième polarisation (P2), lorsque le signal de commande présente une deuxième valeur, la polarisation dudit faisceau lumineux en sortie de l'afficheur dépendant directement de sa polarisation en sortie de la cellule à cristaux liquides. Selon l'invention, l'afficheur comprend en outre une unité de commande (12) adaptée à générer ledit signal de commande, de manière autonome, sous la forme d'une succession d'alternances entre ladite première valeur et ladite deuxième valeur.The invention relates to a head-up display (1) comprising: - an image generation unit (10) emitting a light beam (F), - a liquid crystal cell (11), arranged in the path of said light beam , configured so that said light beam leaves said cell by presenting: - a first polarization (P1), when a control signal (s) of said cell has a first value, and - a second polarization (P2), when the control signal has a second value, the polarization of said light beam at the output of the display directly dependent on its polarization at the output of the liquid crystal cell.
