L'invention a trait à un élément optique (12) pour dispositif lumineux (2), notamment de signalisation lumineuse pour véhicule automobile, ledit élément comprenant un corps en matériau transparent ou translucide (18, 20) avec une face d'entrée de lumière avec au moins un collimateur (14), une face de sortie (16) de la lumière, et au moins un chemin optique (22) de la lumière entre le ou les collimateurs (14) et la face de sortie (16). Le corps comprend, sur le ou au moins un des chemins optiques (22), au moins deux indices de réfraction différents (n1, n2), ledit corps étant d'un seul tenant.
