Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant des mesures anatomiques de dimension verticale d'occlusion et de dimension verticale de repos prises sur la base de repères osseux et académiques. Ces mesures anatomiques sont actuellement prises à l'aide d'un compas et d'une languette de bois sur la base de repères tracés au stylo sur le visage du patient. Or, la souplesse de la peau du patient et ses contractions musculaires faussent le résultat. Ce dispositif est positionné, pour son utilisation, sur des repères osseux : l'épine nasale antérieure et la partie inférieure de l'os mandibulaire afin de mesurer les différentes positions mandibulaires, dite de repos et d'occlusion. Un plan horizontal permet de repérer les différents plans horizontaux, bi-pupillaire , bi-commissurale, l'axe verticale ainsi que le repère médian et de les reporter sur les cires d'occlusion afin de permettre au prothésiste d'avoir des repères fiables en corrélation avec les contraintes physiologiques et esthétiques pour réaliser les prothèses dentaires.The invention relates to a device for anatomical measurements of vertical dimension of occlusion and vertical dimension of rest taken on the basis of bone and academic landmarks. A horizontal plane makes it possible to identify the different horizontal planes, bi-pupillary, bi-commissural, the vertical axis as well as the median coordinate system and to transfer them to the occlusion waxes in order to allow the dental technician to have reliable benchmarks in correlation with physiological and aesthetic constraints for making dental prostheses.
