Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de protection, de type coussin gonflable de sécurité, d'au moins un occupant d'un véhicule, notamment d'un véhicule automobile, ledit véhicule comprenant : au moins un dispositif de protection nominal (10) ; au moins un dispositif de protection pavillon additionnel (20) ; et au moins un siège, ledit au moins un occupant étant positionné sur ledit au moins un siège présentant une position réglable. Le procédé comprend une étape (E1) de mesure d'au moins une distance (D) entre un point dudit au moins un siège et au moins un point de référence fixe, et une étape (E2) de détermination du déclenchement dudit au moins un dispositif de protection nominal (10) ou dudit au moins un dispositif de protection pavillon additionnel (20), en fonction de ladite au moins une distance (D).
