LOAD SUPPORT PLOT

The invention relates to a load support pad made of rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard.

The document FR2982594 describes an example of a pad for a pallet, produced from several distinct elements.

Document WO20 11/128758 describes an example of a pad produced from a single blank. This blank has a bottom, surrounded by four walls to which the bellows are articulated, walls intended to support the weight forces and locking elements.

However, there is a need for a pad which makes it possible to reconcile savings in material and simplicity in terms of logistics.

A load support block is proposed in rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, comprising:

- a polygonal panel,

- two first walls directly hinged to said polygonal panel by two respective fold lines opposite one another, and erected with respect to the bottom, each of these first walls defining a cutout.

The stud further comprises at least one second wall cooperating with at least one of the first walls by means of the at least one corresponding cutout.

Thus, the walls directly articulated to the same panel participate in the maintenance, by cooperating with one or more other walls of the stud. The stud can thus be produced using less material than the stud of document WO2011 / 128758, in which the elements cooperating with each other are articulated to walls themselves articulated to a central panel.

Advantageously, each second wall can define a cut.

Advantageously, for at least one wall, the corresponding cutout can extend to a free end edge of this wall, thus forming a notch.

Advantageously, the notch of a first wall can be fitted into the notch of a second wall. The cooperation between walls is therefore effected via the notches, the bottoms of the notches then being opposite one another, advantageously in abutment against one another.

The invention is in no way limited by interlocking cooperation. One can for example provide that a second wall defines a tongue, and that this tongue is received in the cutout of the first corresponding wall.

Advantageously, the stud may include two second walls.

Advantageously, the stud comprising an additional polygonal panel, this second wall or these two second walls can (it) itself be directly articulated to this additional polygonal panel, by one or two lines ( s) of bend (respective).

In the case where the stud comprises two second walls, the two respective fold lines articulating these two second walls with the additional panel can be opposite one another. This can allow to gain even more compactness in the blank, and therefore to save material.

In one embodiment, the pad can be produced from a single blank.

In the case of an additional polygonal panel to which two second walls are articulated, this additional panel may be part of the same blank as the polygonal panel articulated to the first walls.

The blank may for example comprise four adjacent panels forming a belt, and two of these panels, facing one another when the stud is set in volume, be articulated to walls cooperating with each other in pairs.

In an advantageous embodiment, the pad can be produced from two disjointed blanks, each blank comprising one of said polygonal panels. One of the blanks therefore includes the first walls, and the other blank the second walls.

The stud can thus be produced from two separate blanks each comprising a panel and two walls directly articulated to the corresponding panel by two respective opposite fold lines, these walls each defining a cut.

These blanks can therefore advantageously be identical to each other, allowing relatively simple logistics.

The invention is of course not limited to the use of two identical blanks. We can of course provide two blanks of different shapes.

Advantageously, the stud may include locking means separate from the cutouts of the first walls, thus making it possible to limit the risk of deformation during transport.

One can for example provide a locking by means of adhesive tape or glue, but advantageously, the blank (s) of the stud can define locking elements arranged to effect this locking. For example, the blank (s) may define a slot and a locking tab intended to cooperate with each other. Such mechanical locking can be relatively simple to implement.

Advantageously, the stud may comprise at least one, for example one or two articulated locking wall (s), directly or indirectly, to one or more sides of the polygonal panel distinct from the sides corresponding to the first walls, this or these walls locking defining or being articulated to at least one locking element, for example a tongue, a slot or a flap defining a slot, cooperating with at least one other locking element of the stud, for example a cutout defined in the polygonal panel. The use of side walls, relative to the first walls, for locking can make it possible to have an overlap of the stud, contributing to the robustness and the sealing.

Alternatively, it is possible to provide that the first walls each define at their free end, opposite the fold line articulating this first wall with the polygonal panel, locking elements of the tongue type for example, cooperating with for example the additional panel, for example via a slot or the like.

In the case where the stud comprises two blanks, provision can be made for each of the blanks to comprise at least one locking element cooperating with one another. Locking can thus be carried out between the blanks, thereby contributing to the robustness.

Alternatively, provision could be made for the locking elements to be arranged on only one of the two blanks.

In the case where the stud comprises two blanks each with a panel and two walls directly articulated to the corresponding panel by two opposite respective fold lines, these walls each defining a cutout, provision may be made for each of the two blanks to include articulated locking walls to the corresponding panel by fold lines parallel to each other and erected with respect to the fold lines hinging the panel to the first / second walls.

By “indirectly articulated” is meant that a locking wall can be articulated by a fold line to an intermediate wall, itself articulated to the panel (or to another intermediate wall) by a fold line opposite the line folding articulating the intermediate wall to the locking wall. In other words, the locking wall, the intermediate wall (s) and the panel form a belt.

In one embodiment, the locking elements can comprise at least one tongue articulated to at least one respective wall, directly or indirectly articulated to the polygonal panel.

Advantageously, the stud can be arranged so that each locking wall, called a cover wall, covers at least part of the stud, for example at least 20% of one of the dimensions (height, width, length) of the stud, advantageously at least 30%.

Advantageously, the stud can be arranged so that, for at least one face of the stud, the at least one cover wall corresponding to this face covers more than 95% of this face.

It is possible to provide a cover wall occupying the entire face, with for example a tongue at its free end received in a slot defined in a fold line, or received between a wall and bellows. In this case, one can provide a single cover wall for this face, or two superimposed walls.

Alternatively, two adjacent cover walls can be provided covering together more than 95% of this face: for example a cover wall occupying one third of the face, and the other cover wall occupying the remaining two thirds, or else two more identical cover walls each occupying half the face.

In one embodiment, the locking elements defined by or articulated to the locking walls can cooperate with the first and / or the second walls. These first / second walls may for example define cutouts, for example slots or notches, or else tongues cooperating with the locking elements.

In another embodiment, the locking elements defined or articulated to the locking walls can cooperate with the polygonal panel (s). A panel can for example define a slot for receiving a locking tab.

In one embodiment, the fold lines articulating the first walls to the polygonal panel can be parallel or substantially parallel to the fold line (s) articulating the second wall (s) to the additional panel. This embodiment can save even more material.

Each first wall can for example form a cross with the corresponding second wall. The stud can then be used with an orientation such that the forces related to the supported weight are in the direction of the axis of rotation of the spider.

In one embodiment, possibly devoid of a locking element, provision may be made for the first and second walls to be double. Each first / second wall can be articulated by a fold line to a first / second lining wall, folded against this first / second wall, thus making it possible to limit the rotational movements between walls cooperating with each other via the cutouts.

In another embodiment, the fold lines articulating the first walls to the polygonal panel can be erected relative to the fold line (s) articulating the second wall (s) to the additional panel. This embodiment can make it possible to obtain a relatively robust stud.

The first walls can thus be in planes normal to those of the second walls.

The first two walls can then cooperate with the same second wall, and advantageously with the two second walls. The rotations between first and second walls are then blocked. This pad can be used with various orientations.

Provision may be made for the stud to comprise bellows between the walls directly articulated to a polygonal panel. Bellows can improve moisture resistance in that the open splines of the stud can then be relatively limited.

The polygonal panels can for example have four sides, eight sides, or the like.

The stud described above can be intended to be secured to one (or more) support element, for example:

- one or more plate (s), for example so as to form a pallet,

- a packaging, cardboard, plastic, or other, intended to receive / package content,

- a display, cardboard, plastic, or other, or

- other.

This display can for example be made of rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard. For example, it can be a POS display (for "Point of Sale Loan").

It is also proposed a package of rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard comprising:

a box for receiving content, this box defining a bottom made of one or more walls, and at least one stud secured to this bottom.

The stud, of rigid or semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard can be as described above, of the type known from the prior art, or other.

The attachment to the bottom can for example be carried out by means of adhesive, for example via a double-sided adhesive tape, or else by gluing.

The box can for example be an American box, or not.

It is also proposed a set of at least one blank for the production of a stud as described above, said set comprising at least one blank comprising a polygonal panel, two first walls directly articulated to said polygonal panel by two lines respective folds opposite to each other, and capable of being erected relative to the bottom, each of these first walls defining at least one cutout, at least one second wall capable of cooperating with at least one of the first walls by means of the at least one corresponding cutout.

First embodiment

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 5, the example of stud illustrated is mounted from two disjointed blanks 130, 130 ′ (FIG. 1).

These blanks 130, 130 'are identical and can therefore come from the same stack of blanks, thus making it possible to simplify the management of the supply, and more generally the logistics associated with the production of this pad.

Each of these blanks 130, 130 ’comprises a polygonal panel 101, 101’, also called bottom, here of rectangular shape.

The bottom 101 is delimited by four fold lines 113, 117, 114, 118.

The bottom 101 is directly articulated to two first walls 111, 112 opposite one another, by the two respective fold lines 113, 114.

The bottom 101 ’is directly articulated to two second walls 121, 122 opposite one another, by two respective fold lines 113’, 114 ’.

As illustrated in FIG. 11, the pad 200 thus obtained is relatively robust and has few open grooves.

It will be noted that the locking walls 241, 242, 241 ’, 242’ have identical dimensions and each cover half of one face of the stud.

Packing set

FIG. 12 represents a packaging assembly with a cardboard box 299, the bottom of which is secured to four pads of cardboard boxes 298 identical to each other for example, by means of adhesive tape. This set can be delivered in a set of blanks, namely a blank for making the box 299, and four blanks, or four sets of several blanks, for making the pots 298.

In the case where these pads 298 are each made from two identical blanks, provision may be made to deliver a first stack of blanks suitable for making the case and a second stack of blanks, comprising eight times more blanks than the first stack, for making the studs. We can also provide double-sided adhesive tape for securing the studs to the boxes.

The pads 298 may be identical to the pad 200 of Figure 11, or not.

Third embodiment

In this embodiment, a pad 300 can be produced with a single blank 330.

This blank comprises a bottom 301 to which two first walls 311, 312 are articulated, by two fold lines opposite one another.

Each wall 311, 312 defines a notch.

The blank further comprises a set of walls 321, 341, 342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 322 forming with the bottom 301 a belt. These walls 321, 341, 342, 343, 301, 344, 345, 346, 322, are articulated with one another by fold lines erected with respect to the fold lines articulating the first walls 311, 312 at the bottom 301.

The walls 321, 322 at the ends of this belt define notches.

As illustrated in FIG. 14, when the first walls 311, 312 are raised relative to the bottom, the notches of the walls 321, 322 can fit into the notches of the first walls 311, 312, thus making it possible to obtain the pad 300 in Figure 15.

Fourth embodiment

In this embodiment, a pad 400 is produced from a single blank 430 comprising four first walls 411, 412, 413, 414 opposite in pairs.

Each wall 411, 412, 413, 414 defines a cutout 451, 452, 453, 454.

The walls 411, 412 are directly articulated to the same panel 401, by two opposite fold lines, and the walls 413, 414 are articulated to the same panel 403, by two opposite fold lines.

These panels 401, 403 are part of a belt of panels 401, 402, 403, 404 hinged together by fold lines parallel to each other.

Closing elements 405, 406 make it possible to secure the end panels 401; 404 between them, and therefore to close the belt.

As illustrated in FIG. 17, this closing step is preceded by a step consisting in folding the first walls 413, 414 against the panel 403.

One can also fold the first walls 411, 412 against the panel 401.

Then, as illustrated in FIGS. 18 and 19, second walls 421, 422, 423, 424 are articulated hinged to intermediate walls 441, 442, 443, 444 themselves hinged to panels 402 and 404, with respect to these intermediate walls.

Each second wall has a fork shape, and defines two protuberances, some of which 462, 462 ’have been referenced in FIG. 17, and others 461, 461’, 463, 463 ’are referenced in FIG. 18.

In each cut 451, 452, 453, 454 are inserted two protuberances of two second walls. For example, the slot 451 receives the protrusion 451 ’and the protrusion 463’.

The pad 400 is then set in volume.
