Abstract

Une machine électrique polyphasée (7), configurée pour former un turbocompresseur (1) électrique pour véhicule automobile, comprend un stator (9), un rotor (10), ainsi qu'un dispositif de conversion de courant (15) qui comporte des éléments de commutation associés à chacune des phases (92), un dispositif de détection (16) qui est apte à mesurer la vitesse de rotation du rotor (10), et un dispositif de commande (17) des éléments de commutation qui est configuré pour commuter sous conditions au moins un élément de commutation en vue de réaliser une mise à la masse d'au moins une phase (92). Les conditions de commutation comportent au moins la réception par le dispositif de commande (17) d'une information (A) relative à une valeur de vitesse de rotation du rotor (10) mesurée par le dispositif de détection (16) supérieure à une valeur seuil prédéterminée.
