The present invention relates generally to a body clipper, or hand clipper, used for cutting hair or body hair.

Document EP2239107 (A1) which is known in the prior art describes a body clipper with suction means. However, this clipper can be complicated to clean, in particular at the level of the anchoring of the cutting block on the body, since the latter also serves as a reservoir for storing cut hair. In addition, precise adjustments must be made between the cutting block and the body to obtain a good seal to guarantee effective suction.

An object of the present invention is to respond to the drawbacks of the prior art mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to provide a body mower with a cutting block and suction means which is easy to use. , to be cleaned and which has good suction capacities.

To this end, a first aspect of the invention relates to a hand-held body mower comprising an elongated body, equipped at the front with a cutting block and, at the rear, with a suction block characterized in that than :

the elongated body is produced in the form of an elongated tube comprising, near its front end, a suction mouth arranged opposite a cutting blade of the cutting block,

-5The realization of the mower according to the invention in at least two, or even three separate monobloc elements, namely, the cutting block, the elongated body and the suction block, the blocks being adapted removably on the elongated body, allows, by dismantling the assembly, to easily clean each of the constituent elements of the mower, without there being in the elongated body, in particular in its part acting as a reservoir, recesses in which hairs or cut hairs would be likely to become encrusted or blocked. In addition, since the body is in the form of a simple tube, it can be easily cleaned with water without risk of damaging the other components of the mower which have been detached from it.

It is possible to produce the cutting and / or suction blocks each in the form of a one-piece assembly which can also be passed through with water without the risk of damaging the components. Within the meaning of the invention, the monobloc character of the cutting and suction blocks does not exclude that they consist of an assembly, of different components, removable with suitable tools but in normal use their monobloc character corresponds to the fact that they can each be handled, by the end user of the mower, as a whole without risk of dislocation and separation of the elements which compose them. In this respect, the monobloc nature of the cutting block does not exclude that the cutting head can form an easily separable sub-assembly, without tools, from the rest of the cutting block in order, in particular, to facilitate maintenance or change.

The cutting block may, for example, comprise a cutting head driven by an electric cutting motor while the suction block then comprises a turbine driven by an electric suction motor separate from the cutting motor.

For power supply, the elongated body may comprise at least two electrical conductors extending along the body between, on the one hand, a first pair of front connectors, integral with the elongated body, for connection to two complementary connectors of the cutting block and, on the other hand, a second pair of rear connectors, integral with the body

In order to allow a user of the mower to control the filling level of the tank area, the elongated body may include at least one window for viewing the content of the tank area.

According to another possible embodiment of the invention, the cutting head is designed for shearing hair or body hair and comprises a fixed toothed blade and an oscillating toothed blade driven by the cutting motor. It should be noted that the connection zone 22 of the cutting block 20 is hidden by the body 10 when the cutting block 20 is coupled to it, which leaves only the rear main connection zone visible to the user, and avoids any confusion.

In fact, the cutting block 20 and the suction block 30 are removably coupled to the body 10. To empty the waste which has been sucked by the mower during its use, the user can first of all uncoupl the suction block 30 from the body 10, as in FIG. 4, and then remove a conical filter 11, located in the body 10, between the suction block 30 and the tank area of the body 10 to prevent waste from passing into the turbine of the suction block 30. The user can then easily empty the tank, because the body 10 is a through tube, without recesses. It is also possible to wash the body 10. For greater ease, the body 10, which forms a reservoir, can be made of transparent material, such as polycarbonate for example.

FIG. 6 therefore shows the autonomous use of the cutting block 20 by a user, and then FIG. 7 the use of the suction module formed by the body 10 coupled only to the suction block 30. We see in this latter figure 7 a connector 31 whose purpose is to electrically connect the electric circuit of the mower to the cutting block 20 when it is coupled to the body 10.
