Abstract

L'invention concerne un diffuseur de lumière comprenant un corps allongé en matière translucide s'étendant suivant une direction longitudinale (X), le corps (1) ayant une surface extérieure revêtue d'un masque opacifiant (2) encadrant une zone de diffusion (3) lumineuse allongée s'étendant suivant la direction longitudinale (X), laquelle est non revêtue par le masque opacifiant (2), caractérisé en ce que le corps (1) est pourvu d'une fente ou découpe (4) dans laquelle est insérée un ruban lumineux (5) comprenant une série de diodes (6) électroluminescentes réparties le long du ruban lumineux (5), ce dernier étant disposé de façon que chaque diode (6) présente un axe central (A) de diffusion de la lumière dirigé vers une face extérieure incidente (7) du corps décalée de la zone de diffusion (3) et revêtue du masque opacifiant (2).
