DEVICE FOR REMOVABLE HOLDING OF A FIRST HORIZONTAL ELEMENT ON A SECOND VERTICAL ELEMENT

The invention relates to a device intended to hold, temporarily, detachable or removable, a first elongated flat element, such as a board, arranged horizontally, on a second elongated element arranged vertically, such as a stake, stake. or the like, planted in the ground.

More particularly, the invention is described with regard to the production of implantation chairs, without however being limited to this example.

According to the particular application described, in the construction fields, it is known that the layout chairs are intended to pinpoint the location of a building to be constructed. The implantation chairs are placed on the ground where the building is to be located, in relation to reliable fixed points, such as landmarks, and at a distance (generally 1 to 1.5 m) from the latter.

Since the terminals are generally buried, vertical stakes or stakes are planted in them, on which boards (temporarily) (fixed) are fixed, which must imperatively be at the same level with respect to each other.

It is thus possible to dig the ground and make the foundations by referring to the implantation chairs located at a distance from the terminals delimiting the future building itself.

It is understood that these implantation chairs must both be: produced with care, to ensure their tracking function;

solid, to withstand the wind and the vagaries of movement of vehicles, people, etc. ;

installed easily and quickly;

easily and quickly removable;

inexpensive given their temporary nature.

Several devices are known for temporarily arranging and holding the boards pressed against the stakes (stakes) in a precise relative position.

The difficulty is increased by the fact that it is necessary to flatten a board, therefore having a surface, against a threadlike stake of circular section.

In general, these known devices include:

a first means capable of exerting temporary pressure on the face of the board opposite the stake;

a second means for receiving and retaining the stake; a connecting element between the first and second means.

According to a first known example, patent FR 2 120 484 shows such a device in which the second means is a sleeve and the first means is a sliding shoe, transverse to the sleeve, on a hoop fixed on the sleeve, and able to bear against the board.

This first known device requires having to lift the stake to insert it into the sleeve and make it slide.

Furthermore, this device requires having to pass the board through the arch fixed to the sleeve. Now, said hoop forms with the sleeve a closed loop. Thus, to install or uninstall the board, it is necessary to pass it through this loop over its entire length.

In addition, once the board is installed in the loop, and locked against the sleeve, by the sliding shoe, the height of the board is adjusted in relation to the post by blocking the sleeve on the post by means of a screw, which turns out to be tedious and imprecise.

According to another example known from US Pat. No. 3,304,041, the second means is a sleeve (provided with a clamping screw) and the first means is an L-shaped bracket on which the board rests and associated with a locking screw.

This second known device also has the drawback of requiring two separate operations to firstly fix the board with respect to the L-shaped square, and secondly the sleeve on the post. In addition, the fixing and the height adjustment of the sleeve on the post are imprecise.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a holding device making it possible to fasten and fix horizontally, in a removable manner, a board on a vertical slender element, such as a post, a stake, and this in a quick, simple and precise manner. , the device being also light and simple in design, and therefore inexpensive.

To this end, according to the invention, the holding device for securing one against the other, and temporarily, a first rigid elongate element, intended to be arranged horizontally, such as a board, against a second element rigid longilinear intended to be vertical, such as a stake (such as a tubular stake generally with circular cross section), the device comprising hooking means intended to cooperate with the vertical rigid element (the stake), and means blocking intended to cooperate with the board to hold it in position against the stake, is characterized in that the blocking means are elastic means, in particular elastic compression means intended to cooperate by support and compression against the horizontal element (the board).

According to one characteristic, the locking means comprise at least one turn with a spring function.

Advantageously, the device has a general U-shape, and comprises a core and two spaced apart and integral branches (of the two distal ends) of the core, the core being provided with locking means and the free ends of the branches being provided with means hanging.

In one embodiment, the core of the device comprises (in its central part) inside the U, a loop forming the locking means, the loop comprising an external bearing surface, preferably longitudinal, intended to be in elastic compression against the board, and an internal recess to in particular allow the gripping of the device.

The loop is designed to form a return spring coil.

The holding device of the invention is intended to undergo a compressive force, in particular against the core of the U, causing the compression of the elastic locking means (compression of the coil of the spring) against the horizontal element (the board ), to allow the association of the attachment means to the vertical element (the stake).

The distance separating the locking means (the elastic loop) from the attachment means (the hooks) is slightly less than the combined thickness of the vertical element (the stake) and the horizontal element (the board).

The distance separating the blocking means from the hooking means is designed to generate a state of compression of the blocking means when the device is in the used position, that is to say when said blocking means cooperate with the board, while the hooking means cooperate with the stake, the board being arranged against the stake.

Advantageously, the device forms a single monobloc piece, manufactured by folding and / or molding the material constituting the piece, such as by folding a bar or a metallic iron.

Preferably, the blocking means are made of the same material as the core, in particular the core, the branches and the elastic means are in one piece and produced by folding and / or molding the constituent material, such as by folding d 'a metal bar or iron.

According to a preferred embodiment, the hooking means are in the form of open hooks, the concavity of which is turned towards the locking means (parallel to the core of the U).

- a second removable association means of the device on the second element allowing the device to slide relative to the second element, the first and second means being connected to each other so as to allow the passage of the first element to bring the latter (in particular the board) against the second element (in particular the stake), and is characterized in that the second means defines a reception volume for the second element, open along at least one plane parallel to the latter.

The second means capable of associating the device with the second element (such as the stake) is open (in a vertical plane in the position ready to be mounted after the stake) so as to ensure association by hooking. Thus, the second means has a body open along its length and at its free ends to delimit a slender recess open on the outside so as to receive the second slender element (the stake) in said recess according to cooperation by horizontal translation of the device. towards the second element (the stake).

The second means has on the one hand a slender (vertical) opening accessible along a vertical plane, and on the other hand, parallel to the opening, a vertical abutment plane.

Thus, unlike the prior art which proposes devices in which the stakes are introduced from a horizontal plane while being vertically translated, the device of the invention allows a much simpler and quick association by bringing the device in a plane parallel to the vertical at the opening of the device and by translating the device horizontally until the stake is pressed against the vertical stop plane.

The movement of association of the device with the stake is therefore an attachment movement in a horizontal plane.

According to one characteristic, the second means is capable of preventing any movement of the second element in a plane transverse to the latter, when the first means is active and exerts pressure on the first element.

According to another characteristic, the second means comprises at least one part of contact with the second element, preferably two parts of contact with the second element and spaced from one another.

Advantageously, the contact parts comprise two hooks, in particular of shape complementary to the second element, each in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the second element.

More particularly, the hooks are connected together by a U-shaped part, the base of the U being intended to be arranged substantially parallel to the second element, once in place.

Advantageously, the holding device has a general U shape comprising a base, two spaced apart branches transverse to the base, each free end of the branches (opposite the base) having a return to form an open hook.

The hooks are used to hang the holding device of the invention after the second element (the stake).

According to a preferred embodiment, the first means consists of the abovementioned locking means of the invention, that is to say the elastic compression means intended to cooperate by pressing and compression against the first element (horizontal element, in particular the board). The second means consists of the attachment means.

The hooking means comprise two hooking elements (such as hooks) spaced and open facing the locking means, and in that the locking means and the hooking means delimit a reception volume open facing locking means and between the two attachment elements.

The first means is associated with the base of said U.

Each hook of the attachment means includes an open part, in a plane perpendicular to the second element) according to a dihedral open by at least 45 °. Advantageously, at least the contact parts of the second means (contact parts of the hooks), preferably the hooks and the U-shaped element, are made of metal, in particular galvanized metal, possibly covered with a sheath of plastic material. or rubberized.

Furthermore, the invention also relates to an assembly comprising at least one holding device according to the invention and a slender element such as a board, characterized in that the slender element comprises on the one hand a longitudinal groove ( on the edge of the elongate element which is in particular parallelepiped shape), and on the other hand a stud which is able to slide in the groove and be locked in particular by tightening a knob, and which comprises a rod making protrusion (relative to the edge of the elongate element) towards the outside of said elongate element (outside the groove), preferably the elongate element having on one of its faces a metric scale.

The device of the invention or the above-mentioned assembly of the invention is used in particular in an implantation chair.

The present invention is now described using examples which are only illustrative and in no way limit the scope of the invention, and from the attached illustrations, in which:

- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the device of the invention;

The holding device 1 of the invention illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 is intended to be associated with a vertical element of the stake type and a horizontal element of the board type to hold the board in place against the stake.

In the intended application of an implantation chair, taken by way of example, and illustrated in FIG. 4, the horizontal board is held in height by means of two holding devices 1 of the invention associated respectively with two stakes spaced.

Thus, Figure 4 shows:

- A first rigid planar element 10, flat and of rectangular section, forming the board, and arranged horizontally;

- two second rigid cylindrical elements 2 and 3, arranged vertically and each forming a stake, planted in the ground, about 1 m from each other;

The board 10 is temporarily held and secured on and against each stake 2, 3, in the upper part of the latter, using two identical devices of the invention 1. The board and the stakes are for example intended to constitute an implantation chair for construction, the device of the invention not being limited to this example. The board must, in this application, be arranged and maintained perfectly horizontally and at a precise height above the ground.

The stakes are of known type.

The board may be a simple board such as a wooden parallelepiped or may have certain technical characteristics as will be seen below.

Thus, in this example, the wooden board has the following dimensions: length of 120 cm, height of 10 cm; 2.5 cm thick. Each post which is made of metal has a height of 120 cm and a diameter of 2.7 cm.

Figure 1 shows in side perspective a device 1 of the invention, alone, and intended to link or secure removably and temporarily, the board 10 of Figure 4 on a stake

The holding device 1 of the invention comprises means of association, or also called in the invention means of attachment, 4 and 5, to ensure the removable association of the device on the stake, and means known as blocking 6 able to exert on the board 10 a transverse pressure to the stake, to press the board against the latter.

The hooking means 4 and 5 allow the holding device 1 to slide relative to the stake.

The locking means 6 are elastic compression means for securing the board against the stake when said locking means are in compression against the board.

The locking means 6 have a spring function and exert a restoring force when the user presses on said locking means.

Advantageously, the locking means 6 also constitute gripping means for the user, in particular as a handle, for manipulating the device, in particular ensuring traction on said elastic locking means 6.

The locking means 6 form between them and the locking means 4 and 5 a receiving volume 6A of the board. In the position associated with the holding device 1 with a stake 2, the receiving volume 6A makes it possible to arrange the board 10 between the locking means 6 and the stake

The attachment means 4 and 5 consist of two respective parts of contact with the stake, and spaced from one another. In this case, each contact part 4, 5 consists of a hook of shape complementary to the stake, here in an arc of a circle for a tubular stake of round section, each hook being arranged in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the stake. More particularly, the hooks 4 and 5 are connected together by a U-shaped element 7, the base or core 70 of the U being intended to be disposed substantially parallel to the stake, once the holding device in place (FIG. 4) .

The connecting element 7 in U with the hooks 4 and 5 is in this case a solid round metal profile, for example of section 6 mm.

The hooks 4 and 5 each extend a branch 71, 72 of said U. The hooks 4 and 5 form the free (open) ends of the association means. They also constitute the free open ends of the holding device 1.

Each branch 71, 72 of the U has at its end a substantially perpendicular return which constitutes the hook 4, respectively 5, to ensure the cooperation function by hooking in order to be able to grip after a stake.

Each hook, 4, 5 has a concavity whose geometry is intended to cooperate mutually with the cylindrical shape of a stake. When the stake is cylindrical with a round base, each hook (the concavity of each hook) is in an open arc.

Preferably, at least the contact parts of the hooks 4 and 5 and of the U-shaped element 7 are made of galvanized metal. They can optionally be covered with a plastic or rubberized sheath.

The geometric configuration of the attachment means 4 and 5 and the locking means 6 of the holding device, and their dimensions, make it possible to receive the stake, and the passage of the board to bring the latter against the stake.

The two hooks 4 and 5 define a reception volume for the stake 2, 3 open along at least one plane parallel to the latter.

The branches 71 and 72 have, relative to the base / core 70 carrying the locking means 6, a length suitable for defining with the two hooks 4 and 5, the reception volume of the stake and of the board. The length separating the plane containing the core 70 of the device and the plane containing the concavity bottom of the hooks is for example of the order of 100 mm.

The holding device 1 of the invention is preferably a single piece made from the same manufacturing material. In particular, the piece was bent from a long metal iron, such as 6 mm in diameter.

In the illustrated and preferred embodiment, the holding device 1 has a general U-shape, open on one of the sides, and made of a unitary elongated element folded so as to provide the core 70, the two branches 71 and 72 spaced apart, extending respectively transversely from the two ends 70B and 70A of the core, and at least one oblong loop 73 constituting the locking means 6, the loop 6 being associated with the core 70 of the U being connected to the two ends 70A and 70B and offset towards the inside of the U, as well as two returns 4 and 5 constituting the free ends of the respective two branches 71 and 72 and forming the aforementioned attachment means of the device.

The core 70, the branches 71 and 72 and the loop 73 are substantially coplanar as illustrated in FIG. 3.

The loop 73 constitutes the elastic locking means 6 of the device for keeping the board locked against the stake with which the device is associated. The loop forms a spring turn. It makes the core 70 elastic and provides it with a spring function. The implementation of the device is explained below.

The loop 73 is of elongated shape, in particular oblong, and has its longitudinal axis parallel to the core 70.

The loop 73 has a surface of support / support 6B (opposite the core 70) which is intended to cooperate by compression against the board 10. The support surface 6B has a length here equivalent to the length of the loop 6. The length of the bearing surface 6B is close to the height of the board to maximize the area of cooperation by compression with the board.

The loop 73 provides an oblong recess 8. Advantageously, the length of the recess 8 corresponds to the length of the loop. Advantageously, the length of the recess 8 is adapted to the passage of a hand, so that the user can introduce his hand into it.

The loop 73 is arranged in the interior of the U of the device. The loop extends in width parallel to the branches 71 and 72 and over a limited distance, at a distance from the attachment means 4 and 5, in order to provide the receiving volume 6A sufficient for the width of a board, between the bearing surface 6B and the stake on which is intended to be associated the holding device.

The loop 73 advantageously comes from the folding of the core 70. The loop 73 comprises:

a first line 60 which begins / is connected to the end 70A of the core 70 and is parallel thereto, and which on the opposite side ends in a bend 61, preferably rounded; a second line 62, which forms the bearing surface 6B, is spaced from the first line 60, is connected to the elbow 61 on one side to extend substantially parallel to said first line 60 and at a (slight) inclination, and which ends in a second elbow 63 opposite the first elbow 61; and a third line 64 parallel to the first line 60, starting from the second elbow 63 and ending with the second end 70B of the core 70.

The three lines 60, 62 and 64 are abutted, clamped one against the other in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the loop. They form like a turn of spring. The inclination of the second line 62 (Figure 3) relative to the first line 60 and third line 64 which surround it, combined with the abutment of the lines (in a direction transverse to the core 70) allows the loop 73 to form a spring turn and to confer the elastic function to the locking means of the device.

In the exemplary embodiment presented, the material which is in no way limiting consists of a metal rod, such as an iron for reinforcing concrete, bent and conformed to the geometric shapes and ad hoc dimensions to hold the board 10 against the stake 2. By way of non-limiting dimensional examples, the device presents:

a height (direction of the core 70) of the order of 180 mm;

a width (direction of the branches 71 and 72) of the order of 100 mm;

a length for the loop 73 of the order of 100 mm;

a width (direction parallel to the branches 71 and 72) for the recess 8 of the order of 40 mm;

a width (transverse direction to the branches 71 and 72) for the hooks 4 and 5, of the order of 30 mm.

The operation of the holding device 1 is as follows.

The stakes 2 and 3 are planted in the ground in ad hoc places to allow ultimately to fix the board 10 as shown in Figure 4. The board is intended to be held on the two spaced stakes planted in the ground.

The loop 73 of the locking means 6 of the holding device 1 serves as a means of gripping the device for the user by passing his hand through the recess 8.

The holding device being open at the hooks 4 and 5, it is very easy to associate it with the stake with a simple rotary movement of the hand of the user to grip the stake. The holding device 1 can of course slide if necessary along the stake to adjust the height position of the device.

With reference to FIG. 5, the holding device 1 is hooked on the terminal part of the stake via the lower hook 4 (here not visible since it is hidden by the board 10). With the other hand, the user introduces the board 10, by substantially horizontal translation, into the opening / reception volume 6A, while resting the board via its lower edge on the lower branch 71 of the device. The board then passes through the reception volume 6A situated in a vertical plane and delimited by the locking means 6 (the loop 73) and the stake 2, while the holding device 1 is slightly inclined towards the user and towards the low.

Then the user positions his thumb on the upper end 70A of the core 70 of the device, while making a pivoting movement towards the stake 2 to apply the bearing surface 6B of the loop 73 against the board 10 (FIG. 6), the upper hook 5 being brought closer to the stake without yet being associated with it.

Finally, the user exerts pressure on the device 1 (FIG. 7), slightly compressing the elastic loop 73 against the board 10, to translate the upper branch 72 in the opposite direction of the user and bring the upper hook 5 behind the stake 2. By releasing the pressure exerted on the device, the upper hook 5 hangs on the stake 2, while the elastic loop 73 keeps the board 10 in compression against the stake 2.

Thus, once the board and the stake in place, and the locking means 6 (the loop 73) in the compression position against the board 10, any relative movement of the board relative to the stake is prevented.

The user can remove his hand from the device (Figure 8). The board is thus kept blocked at one of its ends. The user supports the board in position to prevent its opposite end which is not yet fixed from tipping down, and the same operations are carried out to associate the second device 1 on the second stake 3 and lock the board 10 against said second stake 3 (figure 4).

To remove the holding device 1, the user grasps the device via the recess 8, exerts pressure against the board 10, slightly compressing the loop 73 (equivalent to a turn of spring) against the board 10 in order to dissociate from the minus a hook of the stake, then the user pivots the device and can then stop its pressure action since said hook is completely dissociated from the stake. It is then easy to unhook the other hook from the stake and remove the device.

Finally, in the context of use for an implantation chair, the holding devices 1 of the invention can be part of an assembly for which the board has several technical features. Figure 4 illustrates such a board.

The board 10 of the invention comprises a retaining and locating system 100 for positioning and associating a cord to be fixed on the implantation chair (the cord not being shown here). The cord allows to put at the same height the different planks associated with the plurality of implantation chairs present for the construction of a building.

Advantageously, the board 10 of the invention has on its upper face 101 (its edge) in a horizontal plane, a longitudinal groove 102 in which the holding and tracking system 100 is able to slide.

The retaining and locating system 100 is in the form of a stud having at the bottom a shape adapted to cooperate by sliding with the groove 102 (the lower part not being visible in FIG. 1 because it is internal to the groove ), and in the upper part and above the groove 102, a rod 103 extending perpendicular to the edge 101 of the board and around which the end of a cord to be fixed can be wound. The rod projects for example about 2 cm. The support and tracking system

100 includes a thumbwheel 104 which, by tightening against the upper edge 101 of the board, makes it possible to lock the stud in position in the groove.

In addition, the board 10 of the invention has on at least one of its general faces 104 (faces perpendicular to the edges and intended to extend in vertical planes) a metric scale 105, such as a strip graduated in aluminum.
