Abstract

L'invention concerne un embout (1) de connexion verrouillable et orientable pour gaz médical, ledit embout comportant au moins un corps de liaison (2), une bague et une broche (5) de détrompage et verrouillage, la bague pouvant coulisser sur le corps de liaison (2) tout en étant solidaire en rotation avec le corps de liaison (2), un ressort (6) compressible poussant la bague vers l'avant, la broche (5) étant immobilisée en translation sur le corps de liaison (2) tout en y étant libre en rotation, un moyen de mise en prise débrayable permettant de solidariser en rotation le corps de liaison et la broche en position de prise. Selon l'invention, la bague est constituée d'une bague de manœuvre (3) et d'une jupe (4) tubulaire s'emboitant l'une dans l'autre et mobiles en translation axiale l'une par rapport à l'autre, la jupe (4) fixée à la broche (5) comportant une face interne (41) crantée (42), la bague de manœuvre (3) comportant une partie tubulaire (31) munie extérieurement de crantages (32), les crantages (32) de la bague de manœuvre (3) et les crantages (42) de la jupe (4) formant le moyen de mise en prise débrayable par translation axiale entre la bague de manœuvre (3) et la jupe (4), la bague de manœuvre (3) pouvant coulisser d'avant en arrière sur le corps de liaison (2) tout en étant solidaire en rotation avec le corps de liaison (2) étant poussée par le ressort (6) dans la jupe (4) pour mise en prise, l'écartement de la bague de manœuvre (3) de la jupe (4) provoquant le débrayage.
