Description

The present invention relates to compounds of the α-aminosilane or β-aminosilane type bearing at least one polymerizable function, as well as the compositions comprising them in particular, and a cosmetic treatment method using them.
In the world of cosmetics, especially hair, it is generally sought to obtain adequate cosmetic effects, having good behavior over time.
In particular, in the hair field, and more particularly that of packaging, many so-called conditioning compositions have been proposed to date to improve the properties of the hair, in particular sensitized, weakened or damaged. Indeed, it is known that the hair can be sensitized, weakened or damaged by the action of atmospheric agents or by mechanical or chemical treatments such as colorations, discolorations and / or perms, and that they then become often difficult to disentangle and comb, and generally lack sweetness.
Packaging compositions generally contain conditioning agents such as cationic surfactants, cationic polymers, fats or silicones, which make it possible to improve the properties of the hair or the skin, but may however tend to weigh down the hair.
It may also be difficult to ensure their maintenance over time on said keratin materials.
Thus, certain conditioning agents of small size (<1000 g / mol in particular) can be easily removed from keratin materials such as skin or hair, by friction or by leaching in contact with a liquid such as water (sea, rain, etc.) or sweat, even by simple evaporation.
Polymeric type conditioning agents have also been proposed; in this case, the molecules can have sizes well above 1000 g / mol, which avoids the problem of evaporation. But the polymers thus obtained may, for some, tend to form on the keratin materials a weak film or low remanence, due in particular to adhesion failures and cohesive breaks in the film, all may lead to destruction or detachment of the coating.
It has also been proposed to combine conditioning agents with oily binding agents which have the advantage of forming coatings which are less sensitive to delamination and of having good water retention. However, the deposit obtained after application wears little by little and therefore resists little friction; in addition, the excessive use of oily binding agents can lead to a touch of the skin and unpleasant hair: for example a feeling of slippery when touching the skin, or even a sticky effect; on the hair, oily binder agents can cause capillary effects that collect the fibers together and give the hair a look of dirty hair.
Regarding the formation of coatings, in the world of cosmetics, several approaches exist. The most conventional approach is to use a compound in solution, for example, a polymer. As the solvent evaporates, the coating is formed. However, this approach has several limitations: it is difficult to produce thick coatings for two reasons: a) the evaporation of the solvent (generally present in large quantities, in particular at least 75%) causes a decrease in the thickness of the the deposited layer, and b) we can certainly apply a large layer of composition, but the solvent evaporates only on the surface, leaving a soft heart and evolving slowly.
Another approach is to use a compound in dispersion, for example, a coalesced latex. This approach allows for more concentrated formulations (the solvent can represent 60%). But the evaporation of the solvent is especially slow (water). In addition, the coating is generally sticky. This is due to the phenomenon of coalescence (Tg). Thus, the strength of the coating is generally quite low.
More recently, another approach has been tested, based on reactive materials. Thus, it is possible to use acrylate compounds, associated with photoinitiators. UV illumination induces a photopolymerization reaction and the production of a coating. This approach is adapted to the realization of coating for the nails, but proves difficult to implement for body parts, in particular because of the risks associated with the presence of UV illumination. Even in the case of nails, this approach is not completely satisfactory since it requires the use of a UV lamp and therefore reduces the possibilities of applying makeup wherever you want. Other solutions have been devised, based on compounds that are reacted by mixing at the time of use. This is the case of so-called reactive silicones. This solution is complicated to implement because once the mixture is made, it becomes urgent to implement the application. The polymerization that starts causes a change in rheology that impairs applicability. It is certainly possible to slow down the reaction, which facilitates the application; however, the person is then forced to wait for long minutes before the material freezes.
There remains the need to find new systems that can be deposited on a keratinous material such as skin or hair, without the disadvantages mentioned above and form after application a protective coating while giving good sensory properties: neutral touch, lack of feeling slippery and sticky on the skin or oily on the hair.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide compounds which make it possible to obtain resistant coatings, which may be thick or thin, typically from 0.01 μm to 1 mm, preferably from 0.1 μm to 5 μm for the hair, from 0.5 μm to 50 μm for the skin and the lips, and from 5 μm to 400 μm for the nails, for a cosmetic use.
According to the present invention, the compounds can be used with or without a solvent to obtain coatings; said coatings can be prepared without particular material, especially without UV lamp; and are easy to apply.
The Applicant has surprisingly discovered that this objective could be achieved through the use of aminosilanes as defined below.
These compounds have the advantage of being of low molecular weight (generally <1000 g / mol); they can thus effectively impregnate the surface of the hair or the skin, and can bind to each other by condensation to form a tightly bound network which will adhere particularly well, and thus deposit a layer of resistant coating on the surface of the keratin materials, and reduce the risk of rubbing or contact with liquid (water, sea, rain, sweat).
The compounds according to the invention are advantageous in that the condensation makes it possible to increase the size of the molecule, and thus to avoid the evolution in the keratin materials, since it is understood that the penetration decreases with the size of the molecules. . In addition, the sensitivity to water of the alpha or beta silane function ensures that if the molecule accesses the biological zones (cleavage for example), the condensation will be accelerated which will increase the size of the molecule and fix it. before she can penetrate.
An object of the present invention is therefore an aminosilane-type compound corresponding to the following formula (I), the salts being included:
(I) in which: R 1, R 2, R 3, which are identical or different, denote a linear or branched C 1 -C 8 alkyl radical optionally interrupted by a heteroatom (N, O); a C3-C8 aryl or benzyl radical; n is 1 or 2, m is an integer ranging from 0 to 20; A denotes a divalent radical -O- or -NR- with R denoting a hydrogen atom or a linear or linear C1-C4 alkyl radical; branched; and R4 denotes hydrogen or a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl radical.
Another subject of the invention relates to a composition, in particular a cosmetic composition
comprising one or more compounds of formula (I) as defined above.
When the composition is applied, generally in liquid form, the silane function begins to react; in doing so, the material solidifies; then the polymerizable function can react naturally to the light of day and will contribute to reinforce the material.
This gives an adherent film, which is formed quickly.
It has indeed been observed that alpha-or beta-silane-functional compounds are very effective in giving an effective impregnating effect on the surface of keratinous materials, hair or nails in particular. This is certainly due to their silicic appearance, ensuring a very good distribution. Moreover, their reaction is quite fast.
The condensation can also be done in three dimensions, and thus form a flexible network but resistant.
One of the advantages of the invention lies in the fact that the material reacts naturally, by the mere presence of moisture.
It can also accelerate the reaction by moistening the support (skin, nails or hair). The invention is particularly useful for makeup, as well as for the treatment of hair.
Another advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the aminosilanes can be liquid, which allows the use of possibly large concentrations.

The present invention is further illustrated in the following examples (% by weight, MA = active ingredient).
Example 1 Synthesis of a Compound According to the Invention 1 / Synthesis of N- (ethyltriethoxysilane) ethylendiamine (1)
(1)
A solution of ethylenediamine (118 ml, 1.78 mol, 20 eq) and chloroethyltriethoxysilane (20 ml, 89 mmol, 1 eq) in anhydrous toluene (100 ml) is heated under reflux with a DeanStark apparatus for 18 hours. After cooling under argon, the volatiles are concentrated under reduced pressure to yield a
biphasic oil. The upper phase is recovered and distilled under reduced pressure (Tb = 80 ° C. under 0.2 mbar).
The desired compound (1) is obtained in the form of a colorless oil (15 g, yield 67%). 2 / Synthesis of N- [2 - [(2-ethyltriethoxysilane) aminolethyl] -methylacrylamide (2)
(2)
A solution of the compound (1) prepared above (5g, 20mmol, 1.05 eq) and pyridine (9.7ml, 119.8mmol, 6eq) in anhydrous dichloromethane was prepared; methacryloyl chloride (1.86 ml, 19 mmol, 1 eq) is added dropwise at 0 ° C. The reaction medium is stirred for 3 h 30 at 0 ° C. and then 3 h at room temperature (25 ° C.) before being concentrated under reduced pressure to yield the desired compound (2).
An orange viscous oil with a purity of about 90% (NMR) is obtained.
Trituration of this oil in pentane and then in ethyl ether leads after separation of the supernatant (impurities) to a sticky orange foam.
Example 2
An ethanolic solution comprising 20% by weight of the compound (2) prepared in Example 1 and 1% by weight of photoinitiator was prepared.
For comparison, a comparative ethanolic solution comprising an equivalent molar amount of ethyl methacrylamide and 1% of photoinitiator was made.
These solutions were applied: on a plane support characteristic of the skin (Bioskin® support of the Beaulax company, formed of polyurethane coatings), at the rate of 100 mg per 10 cm 2, and on natural locks of brown hair, 1 g for 2 g of hair. In both cases, it was allowed to stand for 1 day at 25 ° C so that the solvent evaporated.
Despite the large amount of compound according to the invention, a neutral feel was observed on the support assimilated to a skin and on the hair with the solution according to the invention, and this 5 minutes after application. Subsequently, put in the light of day, the coating continues to become rigid, and this by reaction of methacrylamide functions.
The comparative composition gives, on the contrary, under the same conditions, a perceptible and sticky touch.
