Abstract
Un procédé permet de contrôler le fonctionnement d'une chaîne de transmission à moteur thermique d'un véhicule comportant une pédale d'accélérateur contrôlée par un conducteur et une fonction d'ouverture/ fermeture automatique de la chaîne de transmission. Ce procédé comprend une étape (10-80) dans laquelle le véhicule détermine une accélération a(t0) qu'il aurait à un instant t0 si sa chaîne de transmission était ouverte, et, lorsque le véhicule circule, ou s'apprête à circuler, sur une voie de circulation en pente descendante et que le conducteur n'appuie plus sur la pédale d'accélérateur, le véhicule contrôle sa fonction et le fonctionnement de son moteur thermique en fonction au moins de cette accélération déterminée a(t0).
