Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un capteur de température (1) pour véhicule automobile et son procédé de fabrication. Le capteur de température (1) comprend un élément sensible à la température (2) relié à deux premiers fils électriques (3) et une gaine isolante (4) comprenant un cœur minéral entouré par une enveloppe métallique (5). Les premiers fils électriques (3) traversent le cœur de la gaine isolante (4) et ressortent par une extrémité de la gaine isolante (6) pour se connecter à deux deuxièmes fils électriques (7) respectifs reliés à un connecteur électrique. Selon l'invention, le capteur de température (1) comprend un tube (9) comprenant une première partie (10) fixée sur la surface externe de l'enveloppe métallique (5) de la gaine isolante (4) et une deuxième partie (11) entourant l'extrémité de la gaine isolante (6) de façon à former une cavité (12) autour de cette dernière.
