Abstract

En résumé, la présente invention concerne un procédé permettant l'établissement d'un diagnostic de charge ouverte ou de charge bien présente dans un système comprenant une charge résistive ou inductive commandée par un transistor de commande. Le procédé selon l'invention prévoit la mesure de l'intensité du courant dans la branche formée par le transistor de commande fermé et la charge puis, successivement, sa comparaison à un seuil positif, sa comparaison à un seuil négatif et enfin la comparaison de sa variation, positive ou négative, sur un laps de temps At, par rapport à une pente de référence pour déterminer si une charge est bien présente ou si, au contraire, il existe une situation de charge ouverte. La présente invention est en particulier prévue pour une mise en œuvre dans le domaine automobile, pour permettre la détection l'établissement de diagnostics fiables sur l'existence, ou non, d'une situation de charge ouverte.
