Description

GENERAL TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to the field of shower cabins, and more specifically to a system for producing and installing a shower enclosure.

STATE OF THE ART The installation of a shower enclosure, whether as part of a construction or renovation project, is generally a relatively heavy operation to implement.

There are several types of shower cabins; the so-called "free standing" shower cabins, which form a complete and autonomous unit that can simply be placed on the floor without the need for wall mounting, and "integrated" or "Italian-style" shower enclosures, some of which less walls are formed directly by the wall of the room in which the shower is located.

Although commonly acclaimed by users, "integrated" shower enclosures are much more complex to achieve, in that they usually require a complete renovation of the tiles on the walls that will be used for the formation of the shower enclosure.

Shower cabins "to ask" do not have such a problem, but are themselves binding because of their nature, in that they confer little flexibility for their implementation. On the other hand, they are easier, faster and less expensive to install. However, these shower cabins "pose" have a design that is not unanimous because they integrate less well in the bathroom.

PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims to at least partially address these issues by providing a system that is both better integrated with the bathroom in terms of design while maintaining a true ease of installation. For this purpose, the present invention proposes a system for the implantation of a shower enclosure, comprising: - a receiver, - a plurality of profiles, - a plurality of panels, the profiles and the panels being configured so as to interlocking, so as to form a shower enclosure with the receiver.

At least one of the panels can form a door.

The profiles typically form housings in which the panels are inserted, the housing of the profiles being provided with indicators of engagement of the panels in the housing.

In one example, at least one of the panels comprises openings for the installation of water inflows.

According to an example, which said profiles have: - a flat section, adapted to achieve a fixation of the profiles on a vertical wall, - at least one engagement section, adapted to engage by interlocking with the panels, - a section d spacing perpendicular to the planar section adapted to define a spacing between the planar section and the at least one engagement section.

Said sections are then typically formed into two distinct portions adapted to be assembled; a first portion comprising the planar section and the spacer section, and a second portion comprising the at least one engagement section. The invention also relates to a method for laying a shower enclosure, comprising the following steps: - laying a receiver having a peripheral rib, - laying profiles each having at least one housing adapted to receive a partition panel , the profiles being arranged in abutment on the peripheral rib of the receiver, - fastening panels by interlocking in the profiles.

The profiles may contain a lug over their entire length to block their translation after nesting.

In one example, the at least part of the profiles are attached to a wall of a wall adjacent to the receiver. The proposed invention thus provides a system and a method ensuring a simplified installation for a shower enclosure, which allows in particular to overcome a total reconstruction of adjacent walls, while having a similar structure as an integrated shower enclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

A system according to one aspect of the invention is described here with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7.

FIGS. 1 and 2 show a shower cabin made by means of a system according to one aspect of the invention.

These figures show a floor S and two wall walls PI and P2 vertical and perpendicular to each other.

The shower enclosure comprises a receiver 10 disposed on the ground S, and bearing against the wall walls PI and P2.

The shower enclosure also comprises a set of profiles and panels each arranged between two successive profiles.

It defines as follows: a first section 20, positioned substantially at the angle between the wall walls PI and P2; - A second section 30, positioned substantially mid-length of the receiver 10, against the wall wall P2; - A third section 40, bearing against the wall wall P2, near the end of the receiver 10 opposite the end of the receiver 10 bears against the wall wall PI; - A fourth section 50, bearing against the wall wall PI, near the end of the receiver 10 opposite the end of the receiver 10 bears against the wall wall P2.

Panels are arranged between these sections.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, a first panel 110 is arranged between the first section 20 and the second profile 30. A second panel 120 is placed between the second section 30 and the third section 40. A third panel 130, disposed between the first section 20 and the fourth profile 50.

The panels 110, 120 and 130 and the sections 20, 30, 40 and 50 are typically arranged in abutment on the receiver 10, for example resting on a peripheral edge of the receiver 10, forming for example a rib. The combination of the panels 110, 120 and 130 and the profiles 20, 30, 40 and 50 thus forms walls of the shower enclosure, in place of the wall walls PI and P2 to which the profiles 20, 30, 40 are fixed. and 50.

The shower enclosure as shown also comprises two transparent panels 140 and 150, respectively extending along the side of the receiver opposite the wall wall P2, and along the side of the receiver opposite the wall wall PI.

The transparent panel 140 thus extends substantially over an entire length of the receiver 10, while the transparent panel 150 extends substantially over an entire width of the receiver 10.

In the example shown, the transparent panel 150 forms a door of the shower enclosure.

The transparent panels 140 and 150 are connected to each other by a fifth profile 60 equipped with a hinge disposed near the corner of the receiver opposite the angle between the wall walls PI and P2.

The transparent panel 140 is thus positioned between the fourth profile 50 and the fifth profile 60, while the transparent panel 150 is positioned between the fifth profile 60 and the third profile 40.

In the example shown, a reinforcing arm 90 is fixed to the wall wall P2, and connected to the transparent panel 140.

This reinforcing arm 90 provides a structural reinforcement of the shower enclosure, and in particular walls formed by the transparent panels 140 and 150. These are in fact connected to the fifth section 60, which is not attached to a wall wall. The reinforcing arm 90 compensates for this lack of attachment to a wall wall, by holding the transparent panel 140 close to its distal end with respect to the wall wall PI.

We now detail the structure of the profiles with reference to Figures 3 to 7.

FIG. 3 shows a detailed view of the first profile 20.

It can be seen here that this first profile comprises: a flat section 21 bearing against the wall wall P2, to which it is fixed by means of, for example, screws; two engagement sections 22 and 23, adapted to engage by interlocking with the panels, here respectively the first and third panels 110 and 130. The engagement sections 22 and 23 are here perpendicular to each other . a spacer section 24, perpendicular to the plane section 21, and providing a predefined spacing between the plane section 21 and the engagement sections 22 and 23, and therefore a spacing between the walls P2 and PI and the first and third panels 110 and 130 respectively.

In the example shown, the first section 20 is made in two distinct parts which are then assembled, for example by means of screws. In the example shown, the first section 20 thus comprises a first part comprising the plane section 21 and the spacer section 24, and a second part comprising the engagement sections 22 and 23, as well as a connecting section 25. adapted to allow to assemble the two parts of the first section 20. The connecting section 25 here forms a housing in which is fitted a portion of the spacer section 24.

Such a two-part structure of the section 20 makes it easier to fix it to the wall wall P2. The user can in effect first fix the first part of the profile 20 to the wall, and then assemble the second part, for example by screwing, snapping or by means of lugs ensuring locking in position (Figure 3 thus represents an attachment by screw as an example).

In the example shown, a curved portion 26 is formed between the engagement sections 22 and 23, this curved portion playing in particular a role of mechanical reinforcement.

FIG. 4 shows a detailed view of the second profile 30.

It can be seen here that this second profile 30 comprises: a flat section 31 bearing against the wall wall P2, to which it is fixed by means of, for example, screws; two engagement sections 32 and 33, adapted to engage by interlocking with the panels, here respectively the first and second panels 110 and 120. The engagement sections 32 and 33 are here perpendicular to each other . a spacing section 34, perpendicular to the plane section 31, and providing a predefined spacing between the plane section 31 and the engagement sections 32 and 33, and therefore a spacing between the wall P2 and the first and second panels 110 and 120.

As for the first section 20, the second profile 30 is here made in two separate parts which are then assembled, for example by means of screws. In the example shown, the second section 30 thus comprises a first part comprising the plane section 31 and the spacing section 34, and a second part comprising the engagement sections 32 and 33, as well as a connecting section 35. adapted to allow to assemble the two parts of the second profile 30. The connecting section 35 here forms a housing in which fits a portion of the spacer section 34.

In the example shown, a curved portion 36 is formed between the engagement section 32 and the spacer section 34, this curved portion acting in particular a role of mechanical reinforcement.

FIG. 5 shows a detailed view of the third profile 40.

It can be seen here that this third profile 40 comprises: a flat section 41 bearing against the wall wall P2, to which it is fixed by means of, for example, screws; - An engagement section 42, adapted to engage by interlocking with a panel, here the second panel 120. - A spacer section 44, perpendicular to the flat section 41, and providing a predefined spacing between the flat section 41 and the engaging section 42, and thus a spacing between the walls P2 and P1 and the second panel 120.

The third section 40 is here made in two separate parts which are then assembled, for example by means of screws. In the example shown, the third section 40 thus comprises a first part comprising the flat section 41 and the spacer section 44, and a second part comprising the engagement section 42, as well as a connecting section 45 adapted to allow to assemble the two parts of the third section 40. The connecting section 45 here forms a housing in which fits a portion of the spacer section 44.

As will be seen later, because of the configuration of the transparent wall 150 forming the door of the shower enclosure, the third profile 40 is not connected to this transparent wall 150. However, the engagement section 42 can be provided with a member forming a stopper for this transparent wall 150, or a sealing member sealing the shower enclosure when the transparent wall 150 is in the closed position.

Figure 6 shows a detailed view of the fourth profile 50.

It can be seen here that this fourth section 50 comprises: a flat section 51 resting against the wall wall PI, to which it is fixed by means of, for example, screws; two engagement sections 52 and 53, adapted to interlock with the panels, here respectively the third panel 130 and the transparent panel 140. The engagement sections 52 and 53 are here perpendicular to one another. other. a spacing section 54, perpendicular to the flat section 51, and providing a predefined spacing between the flat section 51 and the engagement section 52, and thus a spacing between the wall PI and the third panel 130.

The fourth profile 50 is here made in two separate parts which are then assembled, for example by means of screws. In the example shown, the fourth profile 50 thus comprises a first portion comprising the plane section 51 and the spacer section 54, and a second portion comprising the engagement sections 52 and 53, and a connecting section 55 adapted to allow to assemble the two parts of the fourth section 50. The connecting section 55 here forms a housing in which a portion of the spacing section 54 engages.

In the example shown, a curved portion 56 is formed between the engagement section 52 and the spacer section 54, this curved portion acting in particular a role of mechanical reinforcement.

Figure 7 shows a detailed view of the fifth profile 60.

As seen in this figure, the fifth profile 60 here has a structure comprising a main upright 61 associated with a door jamb 62, which can be pivotally mounted around the main upright 61.

The main upright 61 includes a notch 64 adapted to receive the transparent panel 140, while the door jamb 62 comprises a notch 65 adapted to receive the transparent panel 150. The rotation of the door jamb 62 around the main upright 61 thus forms a door for the shower enclosure.

As seen in the figures, the profiles 20, 30, 40 and 50 ensure the formation of a housing between the wall walls PI and P2 and the panels 110, 120 and 130.

Such a housing makes it possible in particular to make a passage for the various arrival and discharge pipes of water necessary for the proper operation of the shower enclosure.

In this way, unlike the integrated shower enclosures, the installation of the present shower enclosure does not require heavy plumbing operations to adapt the arrivals and evacuations of water to the desired configuration. The existing arrivals can indeed be connected directly to a set of valves 200 which will be installed on one of the panels 110, 120 and 130, thanks to the housing present between the wall walls PI and P2 and the panels 110, 120 and 130.

The first and second profiles 20 and 30 can then be drilled to allow the passage of water pipes. By way of example, FIG. 2 shows an example of an installation in which the water inlets 210 and 220 are located behind the first panel 110.

As seen in this figure, the valve assembly 200 has here been implanted in the third panel 130. The formation of the housing between the wall walls PI and P2 and the panels 110, 120 and 130 thus allows the passage of pipes connecting the water inlets 210 and 220 to the valve 200. Apertures are then typically arranged in the first section 20 to allow the passage of these pipes. It is understood that because of the positioning of the first section 20, these openings are then invisible to the end user, just as the pipes installed behind the panels 110, 120 and 130 are not visible because of the third and fourth sections 40 and 50.

The engagement sections typically have indicators to indicate to a user the proper engagement of a panel in the associated engagement section. It may for example be pins that produce a sound signal during engagement.

The ends of the panels and / or the engagement sections may be provided with sealing elements, in order to seal the engagement.

Thus, the fitting of the panels in the profiles forms a tight connection, which eliminates the application of seal.

The ends of the panels and / or the engagement sections may be provided with elements such as lugs or interlocking segments, for example by rotation, configured to immobilize the panels relative to the profiles once engaged.

There is now a method for installing such a shower enclosure, with reference to Figure 8 which schematically illustrates the steps described below.

During a first step, the receiver is positioned, for example in abutment against an angle between two wall walls P1 and P2, as shown in FIG. 1. The drain of the receiver 10 is then connected to an evacuation pipe. water.

Once the receiver 10 is installed, a first profile is fixed, in this case the first section 20, substantially at the angle between two wall walls PI and P2.

The first part of the first section 20 is then fixed to one of the wall walls, and then the second part of the first section 20 is fixed to the first part.

Once the first section 20 is fixed, then the positions of the other sections are measured on the wall walls PI and P2 with respect to the first section 20.

The other sections are then fixed, in this case the second, third and fourth sections 30, 40 and 50 to the wall walls PI and P2. Typically, only the first part of these sections is fixed.

Once the various profiles fixed on the wall walls PI and P2, the panels are fitted into the sections of engagement of the profiles, and the connection of the water inlet to the panel for receiving the valve 200 is made.

Referring to the configuration illustrated in FIG. 1, the water inlets 210 and 220 are initially connected to the third panel 130 and the valve 200 is attached to the third panel 130. The third panel 130 is then fitted into the engagement section 23 of the first section 20 and in the engagement section 52 of the fourth profile 50, then the second portion of the fourth profile 50 is fixed on its first portion which is fixed to the wall wall PI. Starting with the fixing of the panel comprising the valve 200 makes it possible to facilitate the connection with the water inlets 210 and 220.

Then the first panel 110 is engaged in the engagement section 22 of the first section and in the engagement section 32 of the second section 30. The second part of the second profile 30 is then fixed on its first part, which is already fixed. on the wall P2.

The operation is then repeated for the second panel 120, which is engaged in the engagement section 33 of the second profile 30, and in the engagement section 42 of the third profile 40, and then the second portion of the third section is fixed. profile 40 on its first part which is fixed to the wall wall P2.

Then the transparent wall 140 is engaged in the engagement section 53 of the fourth profile 50 and in the notch 64 of the fifth profile 60, and the fifth profile 60 is fixed on the receiver 10.

The reinforcement arm 90 is fixed to the wall wall P2 and is connected to the transparent wall 140 so as to maintain it and that of the fifth section 60.

The transparent wall 150 is then fixed in the notch 65 of the fifth profile 60

The shower enclosure is thus formed, it is then possible, if necessary, to apply the seals around the perimeter of the receiver 10.

The proposed system thus makes it possible to create a shower cabin that is described as a "hybrid" between "integrated" shower cabins and "free-standing" shower cabins.

The proposed system takes the advantages of shower cabins to pose in terms of ease and speed of assembly and also in terms of reduced cost, while providing a visual approach to an integrated shower.

Unlike a free-standing shower enclosure, the proposed system requires wall panels to form a support for the profiles, which distinguishes it from conventional countertop shower enclosures.

The proposed system and method have several advantages over conventional shower cabins.

First, as understood from reading the above, it does not require a repair walls PI and P2 walls. Indeed, the panels 110, 120 and 130 form here the walls of the shower enclosure, and mask the corresponding portions of the wall walls PI and P2. As noted earlier, a specific adaptation of the plumbing can also be avoided.

In addition, the proposed system is flexible. The panels 110, 120 and 130 can indeed be interchanged, in particular in order to freely choose the location of the faucet.

The system is adaptable to different room configurations, and can in particular adapt to the orientation of the wall walls PI and P2. Several types of panels can also be proposed and freely associated to create shower cabins that meet the expectations of users.

Finally, because of the system of profiles fixed on the wall walls, the pose is simplified.
