Abstract

Procédé pour cartographier simultanément la conductivité électrique et la permittivité diélectrique d'une zone du sous-sol, dans lequel on réalise des mesures électromagnétiques et l'on construit un modèle tabulaire multicouche (MOD) ayant un nombre donné de couches, caractérisé en ce que: - on réalise les mesures électromagnétiques pour au moins un offset en un point de ladite zone, en utilisant plusieurs fréquences choisies dans la gamme des fréquences intermédiaires ; - on calcule pour chaque point de mesure, pour chaque offset et pour chaque fréquence une résistivité et une permittivité apparentes ; - on construit en chaque point de mesure le modèle tabulaire multicouche (MOD) de conductivité électrique et de permittivité diélectrique par inversion directe des mesures électromagnétiques au moyen d'un logiciel d'inversion déduisant simultanément une valeur de conductivité électrique (δ), une valeur de permittivité diélectrique (ϵ, ϵr) et une épaisseur pour chaque couche du modèle.A method for simultaneously mapping the electrical conductivity and the dielectric permittivity of a subsurface area, in which electromagnetic measurements are made and a multilayered tabular model (MOD) having a given number of layers is constructed, characterized in that electromagnetic measurements are taken for at least one offset at a point in said zone, by using several frequencies chosen in the range of intermediate frequencies; for each measuring point, for each offset and for each frequency, an apparent resistivity and permittivity is calculated; the multilayer tabular model (MOD) of electrical conductivity and dielectric permittivity is constructed at each measurement point by direct inversion of the electromagnetic measurements by means of an inversion software simultaneously deriving an electrical conductivity value (δ), a value dielectric permittivity (ε, εr) and a thickness for each layer of the model.
