L'invention porte principalement sur un rotor (10) de machine électrique tournante, notamment d'un turbo-chargeur électrique, comportant: - un corps de rotor (11) définissant une pluralité de cavités (21), - un ensemble d'aimants permanents (22), notamment à aimantation radiale, logés dans lesdites cavités (21), caractérisé en ce que : - au moins un élément de plaquage (51) est intercalé entre ledit corps de rotor (11) et un aimant permanent (22) correspondant, pour assurer un maintien d'un aimant permanent (22) et est agencé de sorte que ledit élément de plaquage (51) se trouve dans le passage du flux magnétique généré par ledit aimant permanent (22) correspondant.
