Abstract
L'invention a pour objets un procédé et un système pour modifier la propulsion d'un navire, laquelle propulsion est assurée par au moins une ligne d'arbre comprenant : - une hélice à pas variable solidaire d'un arbre d'hélice, - deux moteurs comprenant chacun un arbre moteur. Le navire navigue initialement dans une configuration où : - les groupes électrogènes fournissent l'énergie électrique, - un seul moteur par ligne d'arbre est activé pour fournir l'énergie propulsive, La puissance initiale développée par ledit moteur activé, en fonction de la valeur initiale du pas d'hélice et de la vitesse nominale de rotation de l'arbre moteur dudit moteur activé, génère une vitesse de croisière initiale du navire. Dans cette configuration de navigation, on émet de nouvelles consignes de commandes adaptées pour régler : - un nouveau pas d'hélice qui augmente le couple sur l'arbre d'hélice, - une nouvelle vitesse de rotation de l'arbre moteur du moteur activé qui est inférieure à la vitesse nominale de rotation dudit arbre moteur. Les réglages du nouveau pas d'hélice et de la nouvelle vitesse de rotation de l'arbre moteur sont effectués de manière à ce que la puissance développée par le moteur activé soit maintenue à sa valeur initiale, ou à une valeur proche de cette valeur initiale, et que le navire navigue à une nouvelle vitesse de croisière supérieure à la vitesse de croisière initiale.The objects of the invention are a method and a system for modifying the propulsion of a ship, which propulsion is provided by at least one shaft line comprising: - a variable-pitch propeller integral with a propeller shaft, - two motors each comprising a motor shaft. The adjustments of the new propeller pitch and of the new speed of rotation of the motor shaft are carried out so that the power developed by the activated motor is maintained at its initial value, or at a value close to this initial value. , and that the ship is sailing at a new cruising speed greater than the initial cruising speed.
