Abstract
The invention makes it possible to avoid any individual handling of the hives or all the heavy and delicate maneuvers with the existing lifting equipment. The support and its arms serve as well for the transport as for the laying on the ground of the hives during the wintering, or the work of the beekeeper. It consists of a rigid frame (1) having four vertical staggered axes (2). These axes take up the entire load of eight arms (6) with gussets (5). The axes (2) allow the rotation of the arms which can move in star and cantilever. These arms are loaded with five hives in staggered rows. The hives are automatically locked thanks to dishes (7), secured by stops (9). The dishes (7) and the side panels (8) allow a hive to move away on demand effortlessly, by sliding. For lifting and laying on the ground or on a trailer, two or four 1.20m complete hydraulic cylinders with a standard 12V mini-central slide into the side sleeves (3) of the frame (1). An option with one or two manual jacks is possible thanks to the inking (4) of the chassis (1). For a compact assembly, a strap and its clamping bar (10) binds each arm and its five hives to the frame for transport. The device of the invention is particularly suitable for the transhumance of bees.
Description
à la grue : les grues sur les véhicules apicoles peuvent soulever en général deux ruches, sanglées sérieusement sur palette, même opération au déchargement.- 1 - The innovation is related to the transhumance of bees for the transport of forty hives with rises either a complete apiary, en bloc and only once. The transhumance of bees is traditionally done at night and the methods of transport are either: by hand: each hive of 35kg is carried by hand and then deposited in a vehicle (with wedging, strapping and aeration). The reverse process must be undertaken after transportation. This requires that supports or pallets are already in place in the motorized cart: usually the hives are loaded on a pallet by four, seriously strapped, then towed in a truck or trailer. Same operation at unloading. This requires stalling the pallets on the ground, significant assistance and transport of the forklift. crane: cranes on apicultural vehicles can generally raise two hives, seriously strapped on pallet, same operation unloading.
This requires stalling the pallets on the ground, an important assistance, and the crane must be closer to the hives. The device of the invention avoids the proliferation of risky manipulations, to fundamentally reduce skeletal problems for beekeepers. The height and orientation of the hives on the star arms put the bees in optimal conditions, generating much less stress for them. The beekeeper is in an ideal position for ergonomic work on hives. The vehicles used remain in category VL (light vehicle). This device is characterized by a rigid and rot-proof support, mechanically welded (1), which can be raised or lowered at will, which allows to put it on a trailer or a flatbed vehicle and bring in block forty hives. The chassis is lifted with two or four hydraulic cylinders of 1.20m complete and standard (minicentral 12V, oil, hoses, distributors, security). These cylinders are slid, depending on the option, in two or four side sleeves (3) of the frame. Or optional manual with one or two 1.20m manual jacks hooked to the front and rear sockets of the chassis (4). - 2 - The key to innovation is that this rigid support (1) carries eight articulated arms (6), gussets (5) pivoting on four axes (2) taking all the loads. These eight arms carry forty hives, five hives per arm. Once the frame on the ground, the arms with their hives are dislocated (9) and simply rotate the hand of these arms, on demand, to make a star covering an area of 80m2. The loaded arms are then cantilevered. The hives are held but free to slide on dishes (7) and side panels (8) for a perfect exploitation of the spaces between hives. Stops (9) secure the ends of the arms and the sides. The opposite operation is made for a future loading, in the details of the operations: the hives are slid by hand on their plates (7) against each other. The sides (8) are removed. These removed sideboards can, once the hives tight on the arm, be fixed vertically at the end of hive. A rotation of the arms carrying the hives aligns them one behind the other on the frame (the length of an arm being the width of the frame and their position being automatically adjusted by the four axes (2). their hives are strapped to the frame using 8 bars (eight tight straps): nothing moves and we have a compact set Everything is ready to be lifted (using one of the options jacks or jacks ) and placed on a trailer that has been slid under the frame. The maneuver is easy since the jacks protrude from the chassis of 30cm on each side. This load including rises on hives, plus the trailer, is around 3000 kg. We therefore have the advantage of being always in a VL type light vehicle. The thicknesses or given sections of the profiles are studied for a mechanically welded iron and galvanized assembly but can quite be made of aluminiu m after a re-adaptation of the thicknesses and sections.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention. Figures FIG 1 and 2 show the frame (1) placed on the ground and eight arms deployed with their forty hives operational for the work of bees and beekeeper. FIG 3 shows the same frame (1), with its arms closed and forty hives, ready to be lifted and placed on a trailer. This figure gives the opening direction of the arms (6) which rotate around the axes (2). FIGS. 4 and 5 show the bare frame, without the arms, from the front and from above, which makes it possible to see the position of the shafts (2), the sleeves (3) and the fasteners (4). FIG 7 shows a sheath in close-up.
Une exploitation apicole moyenne peut très bien avoir dix châssis chargés, soit 400 ruches mobiles, tout en ayant qu'une remorque et qu'un jeu de vérins.FIGS. 6 and 8 show a detail of FIG. 5 along the section A-A which shows the implantation of the axis 50 mm in diameter in the frame. Figures FIG 9 and FIG 10 are a raised view, freehand, of a complete arm (6) with its gussets (5) welded to a 120x120x4mm tube (see FIG 8). The dishes of 30mm x 7mm on edge allow the hives to hang but do not prevent a lateral sliding. The sideboard (8), which is added by fitting into two times two 21mm diameter holes, can spread hives away. This sideboard, removed for transport, is placed at arm's length against hives by fitting into two 21mm diameter holes, vertical. The ends of the arms and sides are secured by two stops (9) to prevent excessive sliding of the hives. Two feet (11) per arm slide in two 21mm diameter holes. These feet are adjusted to good height thanks to quick pins slid into holes of diameter 4mm every 50mm in the tube. An insulating pole (12) or 1.50m wood rod cut at one end is wedged at the end of the arm in two holes, one with a diameter of 21mm for wedging and one with a diameter of 30mm or more to hold it. This pole allows to hang an electric fence to protect animal hives. FIGS. 11 and 12 show the section along B-B of FIG. 1 (section of an arm). We can clearly see the footprint of the hive bottoms that lock on the plates on slice (7) 7mm thick, and one of the end stops of an arm, flat iron. On the roof of the hives before transport, a hollow profile 2100mm long passes in its interior a standard strap which, when hooked at its two ends to the frame (1) and tightened, blocks all the hives with their rises without particular rigging . The device of the invention is particularly suitable for the transhumance of bees. An average beekeeping operation may have ten loaded frames, or 400 mobile hives, with only one trailer and one set of jacks.
