Abstract

The invention is a screw anchor, which aims not to skid in resisting pulling while respecting the seabed. Its principle makes it possible to visualize its position. It consists of a helical screw (F), at the top of which is fixed a tube (E) on which fit 3 extensions of 3 m, usable according to the depth of the wetting. In the upper part of the screw, is fixed a pig (B) perforated with several holes. A ring is used to secure the chain (D) connecting the anchor screw to the boat. On the tubes (E), slip a buoy (A); it indicates the position of the anchor in the water. The set is preferably located at post under the delphinière (G) of the boat. A windlass (H) will be required from 29.50 feet. The device is intended for pleasure boats.

Description

Fig 3: Le marin fixe une perche de rallonge selon la hauteur d'eau.10 15 20 25 30 3031495 The anchor screw respects the seabed. It does not skid or scrape funds. It is intended mainly for pleasure boats which, in the summer, occupy the coastal coast, the invention is very simple. This anchor will be defective to be more difficult to implement in bad weather but unlike it is resistant to the big seas and strong winds. we will baptize it: Anchor to screw. This anchor will have the appearance of a large model corkscrew, tapered like an auger. This large "cap" pull is composed of several complementary parts: A / A connected buoy slides along the poles. This buoy will be posted on the bridge delphinière; simple board (G) thick lengthening the bow of the boat and open on the front. B / A disc, pig, with a collar, galvanized steel at the top of the auger. This disc will be pierced with a few holes to allow a descent into the water without oscillation and faster. This hard disc, diameter 35 to 65cm, will weigh 8 to 14 kilos or more depending on the gauge of the unit to be wet. This disc will have a second role of anti lever, blocking, by pressing on the bottom, the screw auger against the seabed. C / A free ring is oriented freely (360 °) on which the chain is fixed. D / The chain attached to the ring is connected to the boat with or without windlass (H) E / 3 poles in carbon or fiberglass, or aluminum, or galvanized steel, 3 meters interlock; They connect to each other by sleeve, then pinned. (extensions, see connecting section FIG 9). F / A corkscrew screw penetrates the sandy or muddy soil. (auger type). The screw, penetrating and tapered, will be 12 to 15 cm in diameter or more, depending on the gauge of the unit. Its useful length under the metal disc will be about 70 to 120 cm. The thread will be determined after the first tests, about 3 to 7 cm around. It will be protected by a hood connected to the hull of the bow. The principle is installed post under the delphinière or a few minutes before anchoring. The upper part of the screw above the galvanized steel disk will be extended by a 1 meter tube and will end with a removable connecting sleeve carrying the country flag + the banner of the owner. Next will be joined several other poles, diameter about 40 mm, in the form of extensions of the same length is a total of 3 tubes that can be interconnected according to the water height of the wetting. (Beyond 8 meters deep, it will no longer be a strictly coastal boating anchorage). A ratchet or chain lever will be placed at the end of the last tube used as a function of the height of the bottom. (Crank type of manual or electric winch). Example: For a water depth of 3m20 of water: the base + a tube of 3 meters will suffice + base lm. The extension poles will find their place of storage along the cables of die or the deckhouse. A simple chain key will allow, by turning the tubes and worm, to penetrate the selected seabed. For night anchorages, the skipper 40 will take care to let the chain run from 3 to 5 times the water level. By ensuring a 360 ° turning margin. In calm weather and for a few hours a simple tip via buoy / boat will suffice. (Chain at the bottom not stretched) The raising of the anchor will be done by a reverse maneuver at anchor. For larger units, we are considering a compressor, which in addition to the rotating 45 movement for the screw will be completed with a penetrating vibration. Finally, quiet nights. No skidding possible, no more anchors stuck by a rock, a wreck, or an old chain, the algae are no longer torn off or raised to the surface. It will be possible to leave this anchorage in place for a few hours while the boat is moving away. Outside the Mediterranean It will be essential to predict the effect of the 50 tide. One end will connect the buoy to the last tube to provide immersion. The drawings illustrate the invention: Fig 1: The sailor is preparing to launch the grapple. Fig 2: The grapple is launched, it is fixed at the bottom the boat stops. Fig 3: The sailor fixes an extension pole according to the height of water.

Fig 4: The pilot or sailor operates the windlass downhill. Fig 5: The pilot or sailor continues to operate the windlass downhill until the tip of the anchor touches the bottom. Fig 6: The sailor, using a manual chain or electric key, screws the auger until the moment when the pig touches the bottom. At the same time, the pilot or the sailor releases the chain. The properties of this anchorage avoid damaging the seabed. Fig7: Once the anchor's pig is stuck on the bottom, the sailor lifts the grapple. Fig8: The pilot or the sailor activates the windlass, freeing the chain. The boat slowly retreats, the recommended length of chain is deployed.
