Abstract

The present invention relates to an airtight cosmetic container, which comprises a reservoir (10) having an interior (11) and a groove (12) formed on an inner surface of the interior (11); a retaining device (20) comprising a hollow body (21) and a sealing ring (22), the hollow body (21) comprising an annular rising wall threaded on the outside (23), with the sealing ring (22) formed in and on it, an intermediate flange (24) on a lower portion of the riser wall (23), and a projection (25) formed around the flange (24) and configured to be arranged so that complementary in the groove (12) so as to assemble the retainer (20) in and on the reservoir (10); and a plug (30) having internal threads (31) and an internal shoulder (33) contiguous with the internal threads (31).

Description

The invention relates to containers for cosmetics and, more particularly, to an airtight container for cosmetic products comprising a retaining device comprising a hollow body made of molded plastics material, and a sealing ring formed in and on the body and able to be pressed uniformly upon closure of the container by screwing a plug on the sealing ring, thereby making the container airtight. Conventional airtight cosmetic containers include a sealing pad on the top of the opening and a screw cap that can be screwed onto the opening to press the sealing pad to prevent the container contents to leak. However, the sealing pad may fail after a period of use due to permanent deformation.

A typical airtight cosmetic container 1 is shown in FIG. 6 and comprises a reservoir 3, comprising a neck 4 having external threads 7 and a shoulder 5 between the neck 4 and the reservoir 3, and a stopper 2 having an upper portion 8 and threads 9 on an inner surface. A user can screw the cap 2 on the neck 4 in order to fix them to one another by screw fixing the threads 9 to the threads 7. Therefore, an opening 6 of the neck 4 is sealed and the container 1 is sealed in the air.

However, the plug 2 may be permanently deformed after a period of use. In addition, the airtightness of the container 1 is not reliable if the screwing force of the plug 2 on the neck 4 is not uniform. Thus, there is still a need for improvement. Accordingly, the present invention is directed to an airtight cosmetic container, characterized in that it comprises: - a reservoir having an interior and a groove formed on an inner surface of the interior; a retaining device comprising a hollow body and a sealing ring, the hollow body comprising an annular rising wall threaded on the outside, with the sealing ring formed in and on it, an intermediate flange on a lower portion of the annular, externally threaded riser, and a protrusion formed around the intermediate flange and configured to be disposed in a complementary manner in the groove so as to assemble the retainer in and on the reservoir; and a plug comprising internal threads and an internal shoulder contiguous with the internal threads. The hollow body may be formed of hard plastic material. The sealing ring may be formed of flexible plastic material.

The retainer may further comprise a plurality of slots formed on a connecting portion of the externally threaded annular riser wall and the intermediate flange, and the plug may further include a plurality of protuberances on a portion portion. lower, the protuberances being disposed respectively complementary in the slots. Referring to Figures 1 to 5, it can be seen that an airtight cosmetic container according to the present invention comprises the following components, as discussed in detail below.

A reservoir 10 includes an interior 11 and a groove 12 formed on an inner surface of the interior 11 near an opening of the reservoir 10. A retaining device 20 comprises a hollow body 21, formed of molded plastic, and 22. The body 21 comprises an annular rising wall 23, threaded on the outside, with the sealing ring 22 formed in and on an opening of the rising wall 23, an intermediate rectangular flange 24 on a lower portion of the riser wall 23, a projection 25 formed around the four edges of the flange 24, and two opposite slots 26 formed on a connecting portion of the riser wall 23 and the flange 24. The projection 25 is configured to being arranged in a complementary manner in the groove 12, by pressure, so as to assemble the retaining device 20 and the reservoir 10. A cap 30 comprises internal threads 31 on a lower part, two protubered opposite rims 32 on a lower part of the plug 30, and a shoulder 33 at a connecting portion of the internal threads 31 and 25 of an interior of the plug 30. The internal threads 31 are screwed on the riser wall 23 to assemble the plug 30 and the retaining device 20. The protuberances 32 are arranged in complementary manner in the slots 26. Consequently, the container is assembled. In the assembled state, the upper part of the sealing ring 22 is pressed and deformed by the shoulder 33. The deformed sealing ring 22 provides a sealing effect for the tank 10 so as to prevent the contents of the tank 10 to leak. Preferably, the body 21 is made of hard plastic material.

Preferably, the sealing ring 22 is made of flexible plastics material. According to the present invention, a uniform force is exerted continuously on the sealing ring 22 by the shoulder 33 during the sealing operation of the container. Thus, the sealing ring 22 is deformed uniformly. Therefore, the container is airtight. It is understood that the above embodiment of the present invention has been given as an indication and not limitation and that modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. .

CLAIMS1 - Container for cosmetics airtight, characterized in that it comprises: a tank (10) having an interior (11) and a groove (12) formed on an inner surface of the interior (11) ; a retaining device (20) comprising a hollow body (21) and a sealing ring (22), the hollow body (21) comprising an annular rising wall threaded on the outside (23), with the sealing ring (22) formed in and on it, an intermediate flange (24) on a lower portion of the externally threaded annular riser (23), and a projection (25) formed around the intermediate flange (24) and configured to be disposed in a complementary manner in the groove (12) so as to assemble the retainer (20) in and on the reservoir (10); and a plug (30) comprising internal threads (31) and an internal shoulder (33) contiguous with the internal threads (31). 2 - cosmetic container airtight according to claim 1, characterized in that the hollow body (21) is formed of hard plastic material. 3 - cosmetic container airtight according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the sealing ring (22) is formed of flexible plastic material. 4 - Airtight cosmetic container according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device (20) further comprises a plurality of slots (26) formed on a connecting portion of the threaded annular riser wall on the outside (23) 3029756 7 and the intermediate flange (24), and that the plug (30) further comprises a plurality of protuberances (32) on a lower part, the protuberances (32) being respectively arranged complementary in the 5 slots (26). 5 - cosmetic container airtight according to claim 4, characterized in that the slots (26) are spaced equidistantly from each other. 10 6 - cosmetic container airtight according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the hollow body (21) and the sealing ring (22) are molded in one piece.
