Description
Le porte-monnaie selon l'invention, permet de ranger aisément toutes les pièces de monnaie et peut facilement être transporté en toute occasion.TITLE: Device of type housing with compartments juxtaposed for use as wallet or token-holder DEFINITION AND FIELD The present invention relates to a coin purse or token-holder with juxtaposed compartments each forming a receptacle for coins. currency, tokens or other coins. The body of this device is a preferably rigid case, having a generally elongated shape for example that of a cone or a cylinder having on the one hand an opening 10 for the introduction and removal of coins or tokens and on the other hand internal partition walls to delimit the compartments. The assembly is protected and closed by a flexible envelope completely surrounding the device or simply the introduction and access opening. The invention is in the field of wallet devices and more generally in the case of token holders or small circular pieces. GENERAL PROBLEM POSE 20 In everyday life it is necessary to have coins easily and quickly to settle small purchases or motorway tolls. It is also necessary to be able to store the coins that are returned by traders during a purchase paid in cash. It may also be necessary to store and be able to dispose of a pool of tokens for one or more automatic devices for example a dispenser or the start of a washing gun in a car wash or other needs. The storage of these coins or tokens should preferably take up little space and it should be possible to see and take them easily. The container must ideally be aesthetic, small and it must be able to connect to a bunch of keys. STATE OF THE PRIOR ART There are many storage devices for coins, but none of these gives the total or expected satisfaction. There are known compartments for coins integrated leather portfolios that deform in an unsightly and impractical. We also know the wallet with a hollow flap containing the parts on the bottom of which they are dragged. These purses are practical, but relatively large, unattractive and they can not be connected to a keychain. Circular wallets are known in which the pieces are arranged by size in specific housings and held by springs. These objects are practical but quite bulky. There is a lot of room lost between the accommodations. We also know the leather wallet with flexible compartments juxtaposed for each type of room. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION For the purposes of the present invention, it is an object of the invention to provide a purse for accommodating the smallest possible volume of all the coins in an orderly manner to allow easy storage and rapid gripping. and be comfortable and constitute a reasonable reserve. This invention can adapt to all types of coins and tokens. The goal is also to achieve an aesthetic object that can be slipped into the pocket or used as keychain. The wallet according to the invention makes it easy to store all the coins and can easily be transported on any occasion.
To solve the technical problem of storing parts in a small volume and their easy gripping, the invention relates to a stack of parts flat on each other, flat face against flat face and a storage of parts superimposed in partially open compartments on their side surface having an inner diameter and a width adapted to each type of parts. The purse has a generally elongated shape preferably conical, but also cylindrical, to store on one side the large parts and the other side small. The purse has a rigid or semi-rigid housing and a flexible envelope that can be closed on the opening of the housing to hold the parts in position and can be opened to release the opening for example the upper half of the wallet and provide the necessary access to store or take the parts.
This purse has end walls for closing the end faces of the housing and internal partitions and intermediate separation intended to delimit the different compartments in each of which are stacked parts. These inner walls and end walls preferably have a generally circular shape and have notches or recesses for easier gripping parts. But the inner walls and end walls may also have a general polygonal shape, for example triangular or square or an oval or any shape. In the case of square or triangular walls and partitions, the purse will have a general pyramidal shape.
According to one of the versions of the invention, the user can suspend the wallet as a key ring and also use it as a key ring thanks to the carabiner or the ring connected to the upper end wall. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a coin purse or token holder with juxtaposed compartments open on their side surface, forming a receptacle for coins or tokens or other coins. The device has a container body which is a preferably rigid housing having the general shape of a cone, a cylinder or other shape. The latter has an opening to allow the introduction and removal of coins or tokens and internal dividing walls to delimit the compartments. The ends are closed by closing walls.
The compartments are of different lengths and widths to accommodate coins or the like of any standard size lying flat on one another. The assembly is protected and closed by a rigid or flexible envelope fixed to the housing and surrounding it completely to constitute a temporary closure of the access opening in the phases of introduction and removal of parts. The flap of the envelope closes the opening, but a different closure may be provided for example by a flexible or rigid cover connected to the housing or hinged thereto.
The end walls and the internal partition walls are integral with the housing. These walls and partitions have a notch or recess for facilitating the gripping of parts. The lid can be made by means of a flexible membrane which, in the closed position, holds the parts in the housing. In the open position the flexible membrane completely releases the upper part of the housing to allow storage or gripping parts. One of the end walls, in principle the top wall, has a preferably central hole for fixing a carabiner or a ring for hanging the wallet.
The coins are arranged against each other in juxtaposed compartments of different sizes corresponding to the dimensions of the coins. The access opening of the housing can be discovered or the housing can be opened over the entire upper part in its horizontal position, to allow the introduction of parts or their removal or extraction. This protection is provided by the end portion of the envelope or a cover specially adapted for this purpose. This means of opening and closing temporary can take different technical forms. A solid closure can be provided by mechanical means for periods of storage or non-use. The flexible envelope allows to completely surround the wallet giving it a uniform aesthetic appearance and a soft touch. It is fixed or secured to the housing. Its free end is kept closed by clipping means, snap fasteners, Velcro strips or other means. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION The flat storage of coins or tokens or a mixture of several types of coins according to their value, allows to store a maximum number in a given volume. Sorting them by type and value makes it easier to find them when paying. It is also easier to visualize and identify them. The wallet according to the invention has a very small footprint, comparable to that of the remote control of current cars. The flexible envelope gives it a pleasant appearance and feel. It is in particular possible to choose according to the intended use, the number, the diameter and the length of the compartments, the shape of the section (round, oval, square, polygonal) of these, as well as the means of closing the envelope on itself. DETAILED DESCRIPTION The purse or equivalent, intended to contain parts 1 will now be described in detail with reference to all of Figures 1 to 13 with particular attention to the compartmentalized housing 2 and the envelope 3 surrounding it , allowing to close and protect it. It can serve as a token holder or other container or receptacle for a reserve of coins, tokens or other flat objects preferably circular stackable.
The purse has a generally geometric shape in length, that is to say developing longitudinally and preferably conical or cylindrical. The housing 2 is rigid or semi rigid. It consists of a side surface 4 skirt closed at its upper end 5 by an upper end wall 6 and at its lower end 5 'by a lower end wall 7 forming the base of the wallet. The housing 2 comprises an access opening 8 which extends over the entire length of the housing 2 and over a large part of its lateral surface, namely that the housing is open as shown in the first figures. The housing 2 also comprises a number of transverse dividing internal partitions 9, 10 and 11 connected to the skirt 4 making it possible to sever the internal volume of the housing or to divide it into several compartments 12, 13, 14 and 15. The number of compartments and partitions can be modified according to the needs of the user.
The assembly will now be described with reference to the horizontal the main longitudinal axis of the wallet case. There are two basic embodiments from which different variants can be imagined. These two basic modes are represented and described below. The skirt 4 has perforations or recesses or holes of elongate shape 16 in which tenons 17 integral with the walls 6 and 7 and partitions 9, 10 and 11 penetrate to allow their maintenance. After introduction of the tenons 17 in the holes 16, they are immobilized for example by rivets, so as to firmly fasten the skirt 4 on the walls 6 and 7 and the partitions 9, 10 and 11 thereby creating an inner assembly serving as frame. Metallic, the skirt 4 is made from a sheet which has previously been shaped according to the desired geometric shape: conical, cylindrical or other.
This technique of manufacture, assembly and assembly and the material or materials used are not limiting. The upper wall 6 has a central hole for receiving an axis 18 free in rotation. This axis 18 is crimped on a flat washer 19 which abuts against a shoulder 20 of the axis 18. The dimensions of the axis 18 are such that there remains a slight clearance between the washer 19 and the wall 6 allowing its free pivot relative to the upper wall 6 and thus to the housing 2. The end walls 6 and 7 and the internal partitions 9, 10 and 11 have in the case of a conical or cylindrical housing 2, a circular shape intended to support the envelope 3 when it surrounds the housing 2 and is closed on it. It gives when viewed from the outside, the general shape of the wallet, for example conical or cylindrical. In the case of a pyramidal case 2, the end walls and partitions have a square or polygonal shape. Other forms of wallets can be imagined using oval walls and partitions or any other possible geometric shapes.
These end walls and the internal partition walls form an inner frame that prevents crushing of the wallet when it is placed in a pocket and is partially filled. The end walls 6 and 7 each have, for example each, narrow curvilinear notches 20 and 21, respectively, for facilitating gripping by the end of the finger or fingers of the coins arranged in the adjacent end compartments 12 and 15. The internal dividing partitions 9, 10 and 11 also have curvilinear notches 22, 23 and 24, respectively, which are also intended to facilitate the gripping of the parts during their removal or extraction from the casing 2. According to one of the dimensional characteristics of the invention, illustrated in Figure 9, the compartments 12, 13, 14 and 15 have a length less than the diameter of the coins intended to be housed therein. Thus, the compartment 15 has a length less than the diameter, for example, of a two-euro coin, to avoid cross-cutting of parts and especially a supine position contrary to that desired, that is to say, flat in the stacking. The dimensions of the other compartments meet the same dimensional technical requirement, corresponding to the other rooms to be housed. In the case where it is decided to allocate several parts to the same compartment, for example 2 E, 1 E and 50 cts to the same compartment, for example to the compartment 15, the length of this compartment must be smaller than the diameter of the most little piece. Thanks to this feature, the coins can not lie in the bottom of the compartment but they are always in a vertical or inclined position, resting on one of the walls or partitions and flat on one another. To further facilitate gripping during use, the wallet can be tilted slightly in relation to the horizontal to tilt the coins from one wall to another or to separate the one to be picked up. .
According to this first embodiment, the case 2 of the wallet is made from sheet metal parts for the skirt 4, the end walls 6 and 7, and the internal partition walls 9, 10 and 11, for example being assembled together by tenons-grooves with locking pins in the holes by riveting or brazing or otherwise.
According to a second embodiment, the housing 2 is made in one piece by molding metal (aluminum, zamac, brass, etc.) or a thermoplastic synthetic resin (polyamide, ABS, PP, etc.) or thermosetting. We can imagine other intermediate or different embodiments, in which for example, the skirt 4 and the end walls 6 and 7 are molded in one piece and the internal dividing partitions 9, 10 and 11 are reported in circular grooves integrated into the inner surface of the skirt. In this embodiment technique, a multitude of grooves may be available to allow the user to choose the position of the internal partition walls 9, 10 and 11. These walls and partitions may also be placed in the mold and overmolded. In this case, their positions are final. One can also imagine a wood skirt 4, obtained by machining and partitions 9,10 and 11 reported in metal or wood. The end walls 6 and 7 may in this case be integral with the skirt 4 or be also reported. We can also imagine a box made entirely of leather. In this case, the skirt 4 is cut in a rigid bent leather. The walls 6 and 7 and the partitions 9, 10 and 11 are then pieces of leather fixed to the skirt 4 by gluing and reinforced by stitches or staples. In the case where it is desired to use end walls 6 and 7 and internal partitions 9, 10 and 11 of metal, they may comprise tabs which pass through the skirt 4 by elongated holes and are folded from the other side at 90 °. In the case of a leather skirt 4, the flexible envelope 3 can completely surround the wallet. The envelope 3 will be glued on the outer face of the skirt 4 which also covers the technical areas staples or tabs. One can imagine a combination of all these variants and also use materials and processes different from those mentioned above.
Selon l'invention, il est également possible d'utiliser pour fermer le porte-monnaie un couvercle rigide ou semi rigide 38, 39 ou 40 relié au boitier 2 par une charnière dont les formes sont représentées respectivement sur les figures 5, 6 et 7.One can also imagine a variant with pivotally free end walls that would be associated with a holding means of the coins during opening and then a total clearance of the access opening 8 when the position of the purse is correct. Some embodiments are more or less judicious or aesthetic depending on the general shape of the wallet. In the descriptive part which is more detailed below, only the first embodiment will be discussed. The case 2 has a general shape in length. The adjacent compartments forming a housing for the pieces have a length slightly less than the diameters of the pieces that are intended to be stored there. The depth of each compartment measured from the upper edges 25 and 25 'of the skirt 4 and longitudinally defining the access opening 8, is close to the radius of the coin for the corresponding compartment. But this depth can be greater or even equal to the diameter of the coin. The notches 22, 23 and 24 made in the internal partitions 9, 10 and 11 are in their shape and size, such that the gripping of a piece for example that of left or right is facilitated, but not allow parts change from one compartment to another or get caught between the partitions and the means that serves as a cover. Although the flap of the envelope 3 can serve as a cover, it is envisaged to keep the coins in the compartments and prevent them from falling, by a cover 26 that the housing 2 may comprise or the envelope 3 may constitute. One can provide a flexible or rigid cover 26, removable or erasable, connected to the housing 2 or articulated thereon or temporarily detachable thereof, according to different forms, several variants are shown in the figures by way of example. It is preferable and desirable that the opening movement of the flexible or rigid cover 26 makes it possible to clear the entire upper zone of the housing 2 and in particular that corresponding to the access opening 8. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention , the cover 26 is formed by the end forming the flap 27 that constitutes the end of the flexible envelope 3 completely surrounding the housing 2. The flexible envelope 3 can be glued to the skirt 4 forming the lateral surface of the housing 2 over the entire contact area between these two parts. To strengthen this connection, especially near the upper edges 25 and 25 'of the skirt 4, the connection can be reinforced by rivets. These are placed, for example, two by two on each side of the casing 2 in the end compartments 12 and 15. This reinforcement by rivets is particularly advantageous on the side of the hinge zone 28 where the connection by gluing might give way. in the long run. When opening, the flanged end 27 of the casing 3 pivots around a hinge zone 28. This zone may be slightly notched so as to facilitate the folding of the casing 3, particularly in the case of the casing. use of a relatively rigid envelope (thick leather for example). This notch makes it possible to locate the hinge 28 and to give it flexibility while keeping the envelope 3 relatively rigid and of regular shape. Indeed, a 3 too flexible envelope would deform unsightly under the pressure of partitions 9,10 and 11 and coins contained in the compartments, while a more rigid envelope 3 will maintain a generally regular and harmonious shape. To stiffen the end or the flap 26 of the casing 3 is placed on its free end edge a clasp 29, for example metal and U-shaped to cap the free end edge of the casing 3. clasp 29 is fixed by rivets or clamps 30 and 31 integrated. These clamps are crimped into the free end edge of the flap 26 of the envelope 3 after the clasp 29 has been put in place. This rigid clasp 29 makes it possible to achieve an aesthetic finish of the free end edge of the envelope 3. to facilitate closing and opening and to guarantee the straightness of this free end edge. The stiffening of the free end edge of the casing 3 can also be achieved by any other known technical means, for example by folding its end free edge if it is made of leather or a synthetic material. In order to fasten the clasp 29 to the case 2, there is provided according to the invention on the case a male element 32 forming a bolt, comprising a slope 33 and a notch 34. This element 32 cooperates for locking with an elastic support 35 integrated in the clasp 29 for example by hooking. To ensure correct operation for a long period of use, the elements 32 and 35, for example bolt and support, are preferably metallic. According to one particularity of the invention, the male element 32 is integral with one of the partition walls 9, 10 or 11. It is possible to provide two male elements per casing, integral for example with internal partitions 9 and 11 or 20 of the walls. end 6 and 7. Advantageously, the elastic support 35 can be made by a segment of a piano wire immobilized at its folded ends 36 and 36 '(Figure 4) to be secured to the clasp 29 by embossed or rivets 37 and 37 '. Fixing the end of the casing 3 on the casing 2 and thus the closing of the access opening 8 for the insertion and removal of the parts can be carried out by other known means, such as snap fasteners, velcro strips, magnets, locks or various clasps used in leather goods. To further simplify the realization, the housing 2 can be made in one piece by injection for example of a rigid plastic material (polyamide, polypropylene or other ...). The casing 3 can be made by overmolding on the case for example a flexible plastic material (thermoplastic polyurethane or other ...). The clasp 29 can then also be injected into a rigid material. In this case we can report the metal locking system or self-gripping strips. FIG. 8 shows a particular variant in which the housing 2 has a section of rectangular shape and where only one or more or all the stacks are transverse to the longitudinal axis of the housing 2. As shown in FIGS. 10, 11 and 12, the section of the wallet 1 can be round, oval, square, rectangular, triangular, polygonal, etc ... which modifies its general shape while maintaining the characteristics set out above and without leaving the protective field of the invention. According to the invention, it is also possible to use to close the wallet a rigid or semi-rigid cover 38, 39 or 40 connected to the housing 2 by a hinge whose shapes are shown respectively in Figures 5, 6 and 7 .
For the variant of Figure 5, the cover 38 may be connected to the housing 2 by a longitudinal hinge positioned on the upper edge of the housing. This hinge can be metal (piano hinge) or plastic in the case of a two-material molding. The hinge can also be made by a flexible envelope, for example leather that would wrap the case and the cover. According to Figure 6, the cover 39 may be connected to the housing by a transverse hinge positioned approximately in the middle of the bottom wall 7 end. In this case the clasp will be placed for example on the upper end wall 6.
As shown in Figure 7, one can also imagine a sliding cover 40 relative to the housing 2 in the axial direction along guide edges 41 and 41 '. The case may in this case be of cylindrical or conical general shape, provided that the edges performing the linear guide are parallel.
La boucle peut être supprimée dans cette configuration étant donné que l'ouverture se fait progressivement par pivotement du couvercle par rapport au boitier et que les pièces ne sont libérées que lorsque l'ouverture d'accès 8 est découverte totalement.5In order to prevent the coins from falling off the coin purse when it is opened upside down or crosswise, it is possible, according to the invention, to place a flap or a retractable tongue as shown in FIG. 42 with elastic return to the parts in the extension of the casing 3. This flap can be flexible and made of the same material as the casing 3. When the introduction and removal of the parts is removed flap 42. When the one it is in place, it maintains the elasticity of the coins inside the case. This holding function can also be obtained by other means. It is also possible to imagine, as shown in FIG. 5, a loop 43 for example in piano wire, or a thin rod mounted on the end walls 6 and 7 but free to pivot by introducing its folded ends into holes 44 and 44. made in the end walls. This loop is mounted to pivot freely near the centers of the end walls 6 and 7 to be pivoted by a single finger pressure around the points of the holes 44 and 44 '. The two holes 44 and 44 'are offset a few millimeters from the centers of the walls 6 and 7 one upwards, the other downwards so that the loop 43 returns elastically in the locking position shown on Figure 5. The loop 43 closes the access opening 8 and prevents parts from falling involuntarily. This loop 8 which is a means of restraint is spaced, retracted or erased to remove the parts and put them in the box. One can also imagine a rigid cover completely covering the access opening 8 of the housing 2 pivotally articulated in the center of the end walls 6 and 7 in a similar manner to the loop 43. In this case, the inner radius of the cover is slightly greater than the outer diameter of the casing so as to allow free rotation of the cover. The loop can be removed in this configuration since the opening is done gradually by pivoting the cover relative to the housing and that the parts are released only when the access opening 8 is fully discovered.
