Description
The present invention relates to a device for generating an air flow, in particular for a heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device of a motor vehicle. A motor vehicle has a passenger compartment into which the air typically comes from a heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device. The vehicle includes in particular one or more deicing nozzles located near the windshield, aerators located at the dashboard and intended to deliver air to the driver and the passenger, and nozzles located at the level of the feet driver and passenger (foot nozzles). The heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device, also called HVAC (for Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning), can be supplied with either air outside the vehicle (also called fresh air) or with recirculation air. that is to say from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Outside air is generally low in moisture when it is cold compared to recirculating air, but can be relatively cold, especially in winter conditions. The recirculation air generally has a humidity level higher than the outside air, and is at a temperature close to the temperature to be reached, that is to say close to the set temperature defined for example by the driver. or the passenger. Depending on the operating conditions, it may therefore be particularly advantageous to use outside air to introduce it into the cabin at the defrosting nozzles located near the windshield, after heating through the aforementioned device by example. As the humidity level of the fresh air is relatively low, the risk of generating fogging on the windshield is therefore also low.
Conversely, it may be advantageous to use recirculation air to reject it in the passenger compartment at the foot nozzles. In this way, even in winter conditions and when a large air flow is requested by the driver or the passenger, it is possible to heat up this recirculation air more quickly to the set temperature before it is rejected in the winter. the cockpit. The comfort for the users is greatly improved and the risk of generating fog on the windshield is low, this recycling air being rejected away from the windshield. In order to take advantage of such advantages, it is important to be able to dissociate the air flows (outside air - recirculation air), in particular during the passage of said air flows through the heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device. A heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device, also called HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, in English) conventionally comprises a single air circulation channel equipped with a finned wheel rotated by an engine electric in order to pulsate the air in the air circulation channel. In order to guarantee the separation between the two air streams while being able to select or adjust the type of air to be delivered, the invention proposes a device for generating an air flow comprising at least a first air channel. air circulation, at least a second air circulation channel, means for generating a first air flow located in the first channel and means for generating a second air flow located in the second channel; channel. According to the invention the device comprises at least a third air circulation channel and a movable member between: a first position in which said movable member blocks the access of the second air flow to the third channel and a second position wherein said movable member blocks access of the first air flow to the third channel. The upstream and downstream terms are defined by reference to the flow direction of the airflows. Outside air or recirculating air may flow into the first channel, the second channel and / or the third channel. Depending on the position of the movable member, it is for example possible to select or adjust the quantity and type of air to be delivered by each of the different channels. The invention can be applied to any type of device meeting the aforementioned technical problem and is not limited to devices of the type 10 HVAC Furthermore, the movable member can be pivotable only between said first and second positions said movable member being movable in any intermediate position between said first position and said second position. The first and second positions 15 thus form extreme positions. The movable member can thus close or close the first air flow channel or the second air flow channel. The movable member may be located between the means for generating the air flows and a heat exchanger, for example an evaporator. Preferably, the movable member comprises at least one pivoting flap. In addition, the means for generating the first air flow and / or the means for generating the second air flow may comprise at least one impeller. Furthermore: - the minimum section of the first channel Si, downstream of the means for generating the first air flow, - the minimum section of the second channel S2, downstream of the means for generating the second air flow, - the minimum section of the third channel S3, downstream of the means for generating the first air flow and the means for generating the second air flow, with Si = a.S2 and Si = b.S3, where a is between 1 and 2, b being between 1 and 3. Thus, in operation, the flow rate of the first air flow can for example represent 40% of the total air flow rate and the flow rate of the second air flow can for example represent 60 % of the total air flow, or vice versa, depending on the position of the movable member.
The invention also relates to a heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning system, comprising a device for generating an air flow of the aforementioned type. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle having a heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning system of the aforementioned type. The invention will be better understood and other details, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent on reading the following description given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic view front view of a heating, ventilation and / or air conditioning device according to the invention, in a first position of the movable member, - Figure 2 is a schematic side view of the device of Figure 1, Figure 3 is a view corresponding to Figure 1, illustrating a second position of the movable member, - Figure 4 is a schematic side view of the device of Figure 3. Figures 1 to 4 show a heating device, ventilation and / or air conditioning 1 according to one embodiment of the invention. It is intended to equip a motor vehicle and comprises a body 2 defining a first fluid circulation channel 3 and a second fluid circulation channel 4. The body includes means capable of pulsing the air. These means comprise a first impeller 5 mounted in the first fluid circulation channel 3 and capable of generating a first air flow F1, and a second impeller 6 mounted in the second fluid circulation channel 4 and adapted to to generate a second air flow F2, these two wheels 5, 6 can be driven by a single electric motor, not shown. The two channels 3, 4 are separated from each other by a first partition 7 or separation wall, in an area located upstream, between and directly downstream of the finned wheels 5, 6. A movable member, such as a pivoting flap 8 is mounted for example at the downstream end of the first partition 7. The body 2 further comprises a second partition 9 for example located in the extension of the first partition 7 and a third partition 10 The third partition 10 and the second partition 9 are located downstream of the movable member 8 and delimit between them a third fluid circulation channel 11. The portion 3a of the first channel 3 located downstream of the movable member 8 is delimited by the partition 10 and the body 2. Furthermore, the portion 4a of the second channel 4 located downstream of the movable member 8 is delimited by the partition 9 and the body 2. The member 8 is movable between: - a first position, illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, in which he directs the first air flow F1 coming from the wheel 5 in the third channel 11 and in the portion 3a of the first channel 3 located downstream of said member 8, and wherein said member 8 directs the second stream F2 of air from the wheel 6 in the portion 4a of the second channel 4 located downstream of said member 8, and - a second position, illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, wherein it directs the first air flow F1 from the wheel 5 in the portion 3a the first channel 3 located downstream of said member 8, and wherein said member 8 directs the second air flow F2 from the wheel 6 in the third channel 11 and in the portion 4a of the second channel 4 downstream of said member 8 .
Thus, in the first position, the movable member 8 extends between the downstream end of the first partition 7 and the upstream end of the second partition 9. In addition, in the second position, the movable member 8 extends between the downstream end of the first partition 7 and the upstream end of the third partition 10. Is defined by: - If the minimum section of the first channel 3, downstream of the wheel 5, - S2 the minimum section of the second channel 4, downstream of the wheel 10 6, - S3 the minimum section of the third channel 11, downstream of the wheels 5 and 6. The relationships between these different sections are as follows: S1 = a.52 and S1 = b. 53, where a is between 1 and 2, b being between 1 15 and 3. The sections are advantageously adapted to have a distribution of air flows which varies from 65% to 35% for the first F1 airflow and 35% to 65% for the second airflow F2. The air circulating in the channels 3, 4, 11 may be recirculating air, that is to say coming from the passenger compartment of the vehicle and / or the air outside the vehicle. The air from the wheel 5 is for example air outside the vehicle and the air from the wheel 6 is for example air from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The invention then makes it possible to control the ratio between the flow of air 25 outside the vehicle and the flow of air coming from the passenger compartment, as a function of the position of the movable member.
