Description
The present invention relates to a connected device for detecting catch of fish on longline. It is known various devices for catching fish by so-called longline device. The longline is an underwater hook fishing device connected to a buoy floating on the surface of the water. Longlines are either drifting, typically in the open sea, or anchored on the bottom, typically at least a few hundred feet away from the shore if not much more. It is thus well understood that the longline is an autonomous fishing device which must be maintained by the fishermen regularly episodic. The fisherman's maintenance intervention is for the fisherman to move on the site, raise the fish who have bitten the hook, reload the hooks of new baits, check the condition of the equipment. Typically, longlines are raised regularly, every 6h, 12h, 24h or more. Although longline gear is a selective fishing gear that can be rigged at different heights depending on the target fish species, a major problem with existing longlines is that the selectivity of the fishery is insufficient. Commonly, non-fishing fish come to bite the bait. Out, the life of a fish at the end of a bait is limited to a few hours. Beyond that, the fish 3021501 2 is exhausted, it can become a prey for other predators or also die of stress or fatigue. Commonly longlines are maintained on 24h cycles. It is thus well understood that if the succession takes place many hours after the catch of fish by the longline, it presents an ecological waste and an economic waste. An ecological mess because a fish will be dead unnecessarily. An economic mess because, in the succession cycle, the longline has been monopolized by a non-recoverable fish, whereas it would have been economically better for a recoverable fish to be fished.
Typically, and particularly for our invention, the longline is aimed at fishing large fish such as sharks. This longline can catch other species such as rays. A main object of the invention is therefore to provide a longline that can allow selective fishing. In one particular case of our invention, for selective shark fishing, and particularly particularly species such as bulldog shark or tiger shark. Of course, the invention is not limited to the selective capture of these species. An object of the invention is to reduce the time required for the fisherman to intervene on the site of the longline after the capture of the fish 3021501 3 by the longline. This period covers in particular the transport time of the fisherman to arrive on the site. An object of the invention is to provide a real-time monitoring device for catching longlines. According to the invention, the fisherman is warned in near real time of the catch of fish by the longline. An object of the invention is to minimize to a minimum, to zero false detections of catch of fish on the longline. It is well understood that detection will commonly result in interventional displacement, a time-consuming human resource and a medium-sized economic resource for moving to the site of capture. An object of the invention is to provide a device that is economical and easily industrializable. An object of the invention is to provide a device whose maintenance is easy.
An object of the invention is to provide a robust device with a long service life. An object of the invention is to propose a device whose energy autonomy is maximized. In a main aspect, the invention provides a connected tag line 20. The longline includes an automatic beacon trigger system for hooking by the fish. The tag that is connected sends a message to a satellite which sends it back to the monitored fisherman's phone. In one aspect of the invention the automatic triggering system is achieved by the clever cooperation of a slack on the fishing line which when tense pulls off a switch or triggers a switch on the connected beacon. In one aspect of the invention, the connected beacon is coupled to one or more buoys so as to maintain it at the surface regardless of the surface, current, weather, or voltage conditions of the line. taking a fish. The beacon is cleverly arranged in cooperation with the buoy or buoys. The invention will be better understood on reading the appended figures which represent a particular embodiment of the invention in which: FIG. 1 represents a traditional longline FIG. 2 represents a longline according to the invention FIGS. 3a, 3b, FIG. 3c and 3d represent three modes of activation of tag trigger slack according to the invention, with options according to the sensitivity of the trigger to the force of traction on the fishing line 20 - Figure 4 represents the connection system FIG. 1 represents a traditional longline with a ballast (L) which holds a mooring rope (10) at the end of which is hung a so-called fishing buoy (11). On the fishing buoy (11) is also hooked a fishing line (12) fishing line (12) at the end of which 5 the fisherman will fix a hook with his bait. The goal is to catch a fish (P) with this hook. Traditional longline is therefore rudimentary. It is commonly called drumline or shallow anchored longline. This longline is particularly suitable for catching coastal sharks. There are variants of longlines which operate at other depths, such as intermediate fixed lines, bottom longlines, drifting longlines and for which the invention will adapt according to the same principles and shaped means as described. in Figures 2 to 4 which follow. Figure 2 shows a longline according to the invention. In addition to the traditional elements that form a traditional longline, namely, a ballast (L), a mooring rope (10), a fishing buoy (11), a fishing line (12), it comprises a buoy of anchored fishing (21), a tag (22), a tag trigger wire (23). All these elements cooperate to form the longline according to the invention with the ballast (L) which is placed on the ground, a mooring rope retains an anchored fishing buoy (21), the function of this buoy, as well as the other fishing buoy, is to prevent the beacon which is described later and which is arranged 3021501 6 very close, to go under water under the effect of currents, weather conditions or cable voltages due to the taking of a fish. The tag (22) is therefore retained by a tag string (26) between the anchored fishing buoy (21) and the fishing buoy (11). The beacon (22) is a transmitting beacon of known type. It is powered by solar panels or batteries. It includes a transmitter to satellite that is triggered by triggering a security. This security is commonly a switch, a lever button or a removable magnet, on which a mechanical action can be exerted to trigger it. The invention transforms the existing security into a triggering system that triggers under too high cable tension. Commonly these emitting beacons are used in oceanographic mission functions to track currents or to locate drifting objects. Their main function is therefore that of a location. The invention innovates by assigning them a main function which is that of triggering. According to the invention, by activating the safety, the fisherman is automatically informed of the actuation of the tag X whose location he knows by virtue of his initial location function, and thus, as shown in FIG. 4, an information addressed through the satellite (22) to its computer or mobile phone (40) indicates that the tag X has come into action.
In FIGS. 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d are shown three methods of activating beacon trigger slack according to the invention, with two options depending on the sensitivity of the trigger to the force of traction on the fishing line. Indeed, if it is known that a too strong cable tension triggers the beacon, it is also necessary that the beacon is triggered only with sufficiently strong impulses particular characteristics of the catch of targeted fish. The invention allows this by attaching the trigger wire (23) to the fishing line (12). The fishing line includes a slack. This slack is kept soft as long as the fishing line does not come to be put in significant tension. This significant tension pulls the slack and comes to the tender, which has the effect of pulling on the trigger wire (23) and in fact trigger the security of the tag. Indeed, according to the invention, this fastener is in particular made by a link to this safety switch which is triggered under too strong a voltage. To achieve this postponement of tensioning, the invention proposes a slack zone near the fishing buoy tie on the fishing line. Typically this slack can be achieved in several ways and in particular, according to Figures 3a and 3b, by an elastic fishing line. With in FIG. 3a a so-called high fastener close to the buoy line buoy on the buoy line, which gives a lower sensitivity to traction by the captured fish, and in FIG. 3b, a fastener less close to the buoy. tag line on the 3021501 8 buoy line, which gives a stronger sensitivity to traction by the captured fish. Typically, the fishing line is stretched under the effect of the efforts of the fish to pull the trigger wire and trigger the trigger wire connection on the tag. In FIG. 3c, the slack is made by a knot with a very fine breaking yarn, blocking a fishing line winding. Typically, the fishing line is stretched under the effect of the efforts of the fish comes to break the knot on the fishing line which is therefore to stretch and tensing just pull the trigger wire that triggers the line tie tag on the tag. In FIG. 3d, the slack is restrained by means of a trigger plier (31) to the tag rope (26), which detaches from it under the effect of the fish's forces, the fishing line then pulls the trigger wire which triggers the tag. The present invention thus relates to a fish-catching longline on which a ballast (L) holds by a mooring rope (10) a fishing buoy (11) which holds a fishing line (12) at the end of which is fixed a hook with its bait characterized in that a connected beacon (22) is connected to the fishing buoy (11), a beacon trigger wire (23) is attached from the beacon (22) to the fishing line (12). ) and is stretched under the effect of the tensioning of a slack on the fishing line with the catch of fish (P) which triggers the emission of the beacon (22), whose transmission signal is addressed by satellite to the telephone 3021501 9 fisherman monitoring, the tag (22) is coupled in the vicinity to an anchored fishing buoy (21) which provides flotation. The present invention thus relates to a fish-catching longline characterized in that the tag (22) is retained by a tag line (26) between the anchored fishing buoy (21) and the main fishing buoy (11), the mooring rope (10) retains the fishing buoy anchored to the ballast (21). The present invention thus relates to a fish-catching longline characterized in that the slack is in zone near the fishing buoy fastener 10 on the fishing line (12) and obtained either by an elastic fishing line or by a knot that closes a soft coiled fishing line, either by a trigger pliers. It will be seen that many variants that may be combined here can be made without ever departing from the scope of the invention as defined below.
