Abstract

L'objet de l'invention est un procédé de contrôle géométrique d'un cadre de fuselage, ledit procédé comprenant une étape de positionnement dudit cadre de fuselage (30) par rapport à un référentiel (46) qui se caractérise en ce que le cadre de fuselage (30) est positionné par rapport au référentiel (46) en utilisant un support fixe et des supports mobiles (44.1) par rapport au référentiel (46), ledit support fixe comprenant une liaison complète démontable avec une première section du cadre de fuselage (30), chaque support mobile (44.1) comprenant une liaison complète démontable avec une deuxième section du cadre de fuselage (30), chaque support mobile (44.1) et le référentiel (46) ayant un coefficient de frottement inférieur à un seuil donné de façon à ce que chaque support mobile (44.1) se déplace librement sur le référentiel (46) lors du positionnement du cadre de fuselage. L'invention propose également un outillage pour la mise en œuvre du procédé.
