Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de détection de présence d'un élément de traitement de gaz d'échappement (2,3) dans une ligne d'échappement (10) de moteur à combustion de véhicule automobile, dans lequel on compare l'évolution temporelle de la température (4) à une valeur de pente unique et on déduit de cette comparaison à une valeur de pente unique l'état de la ligne d'échappement (10) parmi la présence et l'absence de l'élément de traitement (2,3) dans la ligne d'échappement (10).
