Abstract
Le conteneur selon l'invention permet le stockage de déchets radioactifs en formation géologique profonde et permet d'empêcher l'arrivée d'eau sur les déchets radioactifs pendant une longue durée. Il comprend une enveloppe externe constituée d'un tube (10), placé sur un fond (12) et surmonté d'un couvercle (14), ces pièces étant soudées par des soudures continues et pleine pénétration, et en acier pour pipeline à bas carbone, non ou faiblement allié, résistant aux processus de corrosion sous contrainte, ou fissurations assistées par l'environnement et dont les propriétés métallurgiques et mécaniques sont obtenues par laminage-thermomécanique, et une enveloppe interne (20) en fonte. Application au stockage des colis primaires, ou de déchets radioactifs, notamment vitrifiés en formation géologique profonde.
