Abstract
Procédé de réduction de l'émission d'oxydes d'azote NOx lors de la combustion d'un combustible gazeux dans un brûleur (10') destiné à un four de réchauffage à feu nu ou sous atmosphère, pour le réchauffage de produits sidérurgiques ou pour le revêtement et/ou recuit en continu de bandes métalliques, notamment sidérurgiques, procédé selon lequel une première dilution est réalisée par mélange de l'air de combustion (7) avec des produits de combustion (9) en amont du brûleur ou dans le corps du brûleur ; une deuxième dilution est réalisée directement au niveau (A) où se produit la réaction du combustible gazeux avec l'air de combustion, en opérant un mélange du combustible avec une partie recirculée de la flamme ou les produits de la combustion partielle, cette double dilution permettant la modification des caractéristiques physiques et chimiques du gaz pour le fonctionnement du brûleur avec des taux d'oxygène faibles afin d'obtenir une flamme produisant un très bas niveau de production de NOx quelle que soit la température de l'enceinte dans laquelle se développe la combustion.
