La présente invention concerne un procédé de régulation de l'eau chaude au niveau d'un puisage (5), en particulier pour un robinet d'eau chaude d'une habitation, ledit puisage (5) étant muni d'une réserve (7, 8) d'eau maintenue chaude et raccordée à une conduite d'arrivée (1) reliée à un préparateur d'eau chaude sanitaire, ladite conduite d'arrivée (1) contenant de l'eau venant du préparateur d'eau chaude sanitaire, mais ayant refroidi dans l'attente d'un puisage, et comportant les étapes suivantes : - en début de puisage, l'eau puisée vient majoritairement de ladite réserve (7, 8), - lorsque la température de l'eau arrivant de la conduite d'arrivée (1) atteint une température prédéterminée, l'eau puisée vient majoritairement directement de la conduite d'arrivée (1) et est mélangée à une quantité minoritaire d'eau venant de la réserve (7, 8).
